As of now that only works for standard battles. Not encounter or assault. Tho as WG said when it arrived. It's not final and still subject to change.

Let's put it simple. Map exclusion works only on standard battle (each team with an own base). Encounter (1 neutral base) and assault (1 team has a base to def, the other need to cap) modes are excluded.

Your screenshot clearly state that you had Himmelsdorf Encounter so, in this case, map exclusion doesn't work.

I would also point out that, if you play in a platoon, only the platoon leader excluded map counts, so you can get Himmelsdorf standard battle too, if you play in a toon leaded by someone that blocked other maps.

As someone else has already said, it stands for Problem Exists Between Chair And Keyboard.

It is an IT Support term used when trying to explain to a user that there was no actual problem but rather it was the user themselves. I first came across the term in the late 1980's when I started my longish career in Network Support looking after VDU's connected to an IBM mainframe.

Did you read the freaking huge popup you got when you excluded the map?  Obviously not.
