I mean looking at this German unification rewards thing, tier 3 is blueprints - ok I'll try and get those, quite useful. But the tier 4 rewards are a choice between a couple of tier 3 tanks and a few days of premium. I'd take the premium days if I got to that level but I certainly wouldn't put myself out to achieve it.

The Question is: Does anyone put any value on these low tier reward tanks?

BondSupermarket, so many of those things.

Not a bad idea though.

As with all missions and rewards I have ignored this

However, low tier reward or freebie tanks are not to be sniffed at

Many of mine have done rather well

Depends if you see the value in using them. Even as a storage unit for crews if you lack bunks.  As the last time I used my S35 was to do a daily run in all my 9 premium German meds to get a med crew past 99% on the 4th skill. As training for most is less vital now that we have books, unless it's just to get them from 75% to 100%. Then ofc having more to do the daily in helps. But... low tiers do have some value if you want to convert free XP fast due to premium tier bonuses.

If none of those points is anything you will use them for... then no, there will be no value to be worth the effort to focus on German tanks daily.

I only really care for the Type 97 Te-Ke since its Japanese and completed my collection.

I kind of like them. I should play them a bit more often, but, well, missions. Once I got that 279e it is going to collect a nice layer of dust while I am going to revisit all the little tanks I have been ignoring for way too long. What with the current state of TX I doubt I will notice the difference.

I actually did see one of those today when my Gr.Tr was out doing one part of the German missions. First one of those I've seen in years out in the wild. He did not like my HE shell tho :(

I like them. Can be a giggle. Light relief plus you can use some of your uber crews in them to add to your indulgence.

I've got into the habit of not going below tier 6 so most of mine get a game or two if they're lucky, then just sit in the garage for ever more.

The XP is so low at tier III is really worth it? If youre getting x2 I s'pose.

I have thought about going back to the lower tiers to get some of those badges you get for killing every tank in a national tech tree, all the ones I'm missing are really low tiers.

If you stack it with PR and just do dailies in them with others and just want to get then to 100% base as fast as you can. Then anything helps tbh. Be it 500 or 1100 xp runs on a 2x.

...But the Tier II and III dinky toy premiums can be such fun since they don't really need a crew and don't really need equipment... They are great when you get temporarily fed up with a tech tree grind / WG marathon / crew training plan / special event mode like Steel Hunter. Either you just blindly pick one of these, or you break out the d20 / d12 / d10 / d8 / d6 etc dice and end up playing a random tank from all the ones in your garage. If you've never done this when you got barfingly sick of whatever repetitive thing you were doing: you should. Of course, it works better if you keep your tonks. If you sell them all, there's not really a point. :great:

Low tier reward Prems like all other Prems can be sold for credits and bought back at a later date indefinitely if there are regrets. The only tank I know of that this can't be done for is the RU Valentine which seems to have a timer on it, everything else I've ever been awarded has an unlimited buy back duration.

Last time i played tier 3 it was one big gold spamming orgy after the other. Players with 20-30-50k battles and enough credits to spam apcr exclusively while butchering newbies....sad.

So, no, i don't care about tier 2 or 3 reward tanks.

I do miss my Pz. 38T though...

I recently took advantage of vehicle restoration to get back all of the tier II and III gift tanks that I had sold.

I do still play tier III, but tier II is largely a joke tier. The poor map rotation and sheer madness of new players means that I do not enjoy it and last played tier II when my younger son started playing WoT. We did well together, but I would not play it solo. I don't even have crews for some, including the Mk VIC, after WG changed the Crusader to a medium tank.

I like tier III with the vehicles that I have chosen to keep. Please bear in mind that I chose to keep some of them back when they still faced tier V regularly, so it certainly was not plain sailing against tier II newbies.

I have kept, and played, some tier III for a long time. I may never play the recovered ones again, but I had the slots, and I had the credits, so they are back.

I play pretty much all t2-4 premiums, not everyday but at least when slightly pissed or drunk. Far funnier and faster gameplay without excessive camping guaranteed.
