E75 TS Out for FL seems a no brainer to me

Only one question

Will it be a genuine improvement on previous German heavies

Or yet another Russian-joke-tank

If it's not tier for tier as good as the E75 then there is no point.

Yeah we definitely need to discuss that. Oh wait, we already did. So what's the point of arguing about the E75 or any other topic with someone like you. You have no interest in facts or advice from others.

Skill based Matchmaking would sort it out!

Don't know, but CC's already have the tank.

I saw a CC a few days back in one, playing it.

They already have a good German hull armour profile...

...but it was never allowed past tier 7

https://tanks.gg/tank/vk-3002-d/model

But we're stuck with this "its German so its got to have a nice big lower plate and 40mm upper decks" mindset at WoT

Did the Lowe stop selling well, that they needed to powercreep it?

And of course it has more alpha than the other 105mm too...

The only positive thing is that it has frontal weackspots, included the E75 "eyes", here located at the mantlet side.

Looks like a better version of Löwe to me. More of a brawling tank.

Armor is about the same except lower plate is much better, and gun handling slightly worse, but much better mobility which probably makes up for it. Way better DPM also.

Well sucks to be Löwe owner, WG just added a direct upgrade.

They are not hit boxes, but modeled as spaced armor.

True, but behind them there is a 0 armour spot. So those are effectively 2 60mm weackspots on the turret front.

Facehugging won't likely be a good tactic...

Hmmm... tanks.gg says there is 200mm armor behind them BUT 0mm armor in side.

But hard to say for sure, tanks.gg is sometimes bit bugged in this.

Has it? When I compare the two tanks on tanks.gg the difference doesn't look that big to me... Am I overlooking/missing/misinterpreting something?

This is from armour inspector. I removed the 60mm spaced armour to show the 0mm area better from head on

I love playing the E75, not sure if E75 TS would convince me.

Better engine power to weight, and also better ground resistances.

E75 TS isn't going to be a speed demon, but it should be faster than Löwe at least going any kind of uphill.

Well sucks to be Löwe owner, WG just added a direct upgrade.

Direct upgrade:

- worse gun in every aspect expect DPM,

- worse top speed but with +2 h.p./t and better ground resistances,

- worse armour,

- worse gun depression,

- worse view range.

Lowe still looks better for me. DPM sucks but great accuracy with high penetration (including 294 mm APCR!) means that "effective DPM" is almost as high as "theoretical DPM". E75 TS has average tier 8 heavy tank gun.

30 km/h top speed is very limiting. Lowe might be slower overall but it's going to be faster downhill or on hard terrain (where you can easily reach top speed).

E75 TS has better frontal armour but Lowe can angle it more and it's better at sidescraping. 10 degrees of gun depression means you can sit hulldown without exposing your commander's cupola and hull armour. E75's cupola is bigger, weaker and harder to hide.

This is a direct upgrade to Tiger II, not Lowe.

Also, it's ugly... It looks like Lowe, Tiger II and Pz.IV mashed together. Wtf is that exhaust pipe at the back? Gun mantle looks like it's glued on from different design and those bolted on armour plates that serve zero purpose (they are purely visual - armour is still the same as the rest of the turret). This looks like some kind of scrap tank :sceptic:

Hey, tankers!

Three Tier VIII vehicles are about to enter the Supertest. Let’s take a glimpse at what each of them are like before they hit the proving ground.

E 75 TS

Secondly, we have a Tier VIII heavy ready to bolster the German tech tree. Its name—the E 75 TS.

Personally I am hoping this goes into the regular tech tree with the Tiger 2 and Tiger 1 being downtiered...

Lowe is better over all, but E75 TS has only a better DPM, that's all!

Armour, ammo rack capacity, dispersion while aiming and while moving, Lowe is just better...

So? It's an other joke made by WG.

I feel for WG ever so slightly.

As they are now releasing balanced Prems but fewer buy as a lot of us already own blatantly OP ones.

Like I have a Progetto, a Defender and an IS3a. Why on earth would I spend money on the Offspring tank or any of the German Prem HTs being released?

Especially now as crew training is irrelevant, just abuse your best prems for a few hours and earn enough credits to pump crew books into whatever crew you want.

Still, WG are trying to even out the Prems so give them a little bit of credit :hiding:
