OK, I have  noticed  lots of negativity on the forum lately and thought I would try and lighten the mood a touch.

So what makes you smile when playing world of tanks?

Here is an example from this afternoon:

I was trying to do a Obj 260 Arty Mission in my M44 (I know, poor excuse for playing  a sky pig but I am a terrible person in general so you are going to have to forgive me) and I got Himmelsdorf. Bollocks I thought, best head to the railway station ASAP so I can rain down pain on those trying to push the castle. However, in my haste I managed to hit a building and flip on my side within 100 meters of the spawn. Double bollocks says I.  A cry for help in chat ensued.

A minute goes by and no help appears, do I point my gun at the ground and splash myself to death and end the pain ASAP?  But wait, what is this? Two tomato scouts, a Mt25 and aT64 come charging across the map and spend two minutes putting me back on my tracks. By this stage  we are 3 tanks down and the enemy are swarming down the banana road. Now on my feet I pop around the corner and find a  distracted full health Hellcat in front of me. That’s a one shot kill, boom. Swiftly followed by a VK30.01 at 25 meters, another one shot. I then get killed by a tiger but the two scouts go on to win the game. A good game showing really good team work and proof that if you stop and help it can really pay off.

This genuinely brought a smile to my face, much like receiving a well done message in chat.

go on guys and girls, what makes you grin whilst playing this frustrating but great game?

A couple of days ago while driving the Object 705A I loaded HE to shoot at another heavy but then an FV4005 appeared and I shot it for 917 damage :D. That was an unexpected surprise and I wondered what he was thinking.

Playing the T95 always makes me smile regardless of the results.

I remember a battle when i spawned north in Tundra. I was top tier and our team ignored the hill completely which is never a good sign. I though 'How bad could it be?' and steamed ahead to take the hill alone. On the hill there were 4 tanks: T-54, T-54 mod 1, O-Ni and a T-10. When i first saw the O-Ni i was so mad at our team, 'You let a ***** O-Ni up the hill'!!!

The T-10 greeted me at the corner but he was one shot so he went first. Started climbing up the slope with the two T54s bouncing and i finally made it up alone and turned the back of the tank into one of the hill openings. Well, they all died including one borsig with the big gun who came very late to help his friends. :)

Bouncing a Jagdpz E100 / FV4005 shell in an M60 or FV215b.

Ramming a fast tank to death with a slow tank.

This. I was initially frustarted that another "player" decided camping with arty was the best option to win, but then by the end i was grateful of his "skill"  as it meant i got to mop up the damage and kills. He flamed me the whole game from his position of power everytime i pinged him on the map but the PM afterwards was the icing on the cake:

I like ram kills. Sometimes, inflicting simple blunt force trauma is much more satisfying than using fancy technology. :izmena:

what makes me smile?

If I got bullied and while bullying back the bully gets flipped.

Instant karma. And a big smile.

One thing that genuinely made me laugh was when I fell off the edge on Cliff in my STA-1. It was at the SE edge where you used to be able to go hull down and WG have ruined it.

I was going to drown myself and drop out but I decided that I might be useful, so stayed alive at the the water's edge. FOUR enemy tanks came sniffing around and all four bounced past me on their way into the briney deep. Hilarious.
