This would be a great idea! There are some fun tanks in lower tiers that I'd like to try and mark.

No, there's enough seal clubbing at lower tiers as it is without encouraging it. Let the newbies have their safe(ish) space.

Tanks below tier 4 are waste of time.

I would not mind extended it to tier 4 to be honest. First tier where there are some keepers.

I think that this is a wonderful idea.

Also, I agree with the poster stating that tier 4 has some really good tanks.

I occasionally drop down to tier 1 & 2 for fun and to see how many new players are coming into the game.

We really do need the new players to keep the game populated.  :child:

Translation: I can't mark higher tiers. :hiding:

There is a pretty good reason WG decided to not have marks below tier 5. Low tier seal clubbers are already a big problem for new players. Having bad/mediocre players flock to lower tiers trying to mark tanks would just make this problem even bigger. TBH 3-marking tier 5 tanks is already pretty damn easy and if you cant do that you probably won´t be able to 3-mark lower tiers either.

Yes, there are some worthy T4 tanks that people like playing for fun that would be nice to have for MOE's - Luchs, Hetzer, SU85A, Matilda, AMX40 etc - but there is a big difference in having a tank that you occasionally play for a bit of light relief and a tank that you are playing constantly to get MOE's on.

You would get the situation where you have a new player in a stock tank with 50% crew matched in with several fully pimped vehicles with multiskilled crews - not much fun for the new players, they would struggle to contribute on their own side and be farmed by their MOE seeking opponents.

They dont care about new players. Otherwise why give them a free tier 6 after a few easy missions.

I doubt that adding MoE to tier 4 and possibly tier 3 will result in a huge influx of players from the higher tiers. I can't see the people playing tiers 8/9/10 saying omg! lets go back en masse to tier 4 to mark some tanks.

What it will do is give something extra and interesting for those of us who play tier 4 regularly.

there are quite a bunch players that like the challenge of marking tanks (including me) so pretty sure they will be going back to tier 4 to mark those aswell, might not be a whole lot but guess still enough to ruin low tier gameplay more

Top idea.  Shame I can only recommend once.

I see that all the usual suspects don't like it.
