Hi! I suggest discussing suspicious actions of players, which can be interpreted as the use of forbidden mods.

[determine the position of the SPG on the map]
Below the replay where I was killed at the beginning of the battle without lighting but by a tracer of mine SPG shot. A mod was probably used to determine the position of the SPG on the map. Currently, the display of SPG tracers is, as far as I know, disabled. At least now I don 't see them in a battle. What do you think about that?

Tracers are not disabled. I played a couple of battles in my FV3805 the other day and played counter-battery.

So now you know.

I'd suggest removing the screenshot and understanding the forum rules on naming and shaming.

Arty tracers still visible, in fact when I am reloading I actively look for these. Took out GWE & T92 last night.

Meant to add get into the habit of firing and moving. The number of arty players that don't relocate between shots is alarmingly high.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know arty spots  on the maps, next time move after you fire.

Don't worry about it, this game is loaded with hax and cheats

If you can't handle it, leave

WoT has allowed all sorts of game killing stuff over the years

More insight into the minds of the game's worst players.

Never mind that the OP is talking complete excrement.

Why are you even still playing?

Oh and if you catch anyone then send in a replay with a 6 page report and maybe something will be done

if anyone bothers to look at it

So that's 25000 minus 1

only 24999 to go

Alternatively

just get on with your life and shoot tonks

WoT allows all sorts of dodgy stuff so they're not really that bothered to start with

If you don't relocate after a shot, it's your own fault.

Tracers are not disabled and you failed to understand that just because you are the other side of the map in an arty you are not untouchable. Now you know. You have an engine, use it.

I used to like playing counterbattery but tracers were effectively disabled for me after the release of 1.0. They aren't visible on my potato PC. Perhaps the OP also has a potato PC and critics might have thought of that before attacking him.

I have not learned this mechanic, therefore it must be hax!

Um, no. Ask questions before you start making extreme assumptions. Especially with so few battles played (4k, even 10k battles is nothing), it takes a lot more to learn everything about this game, it's not as simple as point-and-click.

Others already answered. Tracers are visible, but only within a certain area of the direction you're looking at. If you're not looking within 5° of the actual location of the enemy arty, you won't see their tracer. Ask your allies to ping the map when they get hit by arty, so you can get a more accurate idea of their location. Eventually, you'll see the tracer. If your shell disappears (does not explode on impact) it means you've landed on a hit on an unspotted vehicle, in this case an arty.

You can find them yourself too. Look for fallen trees or broken fences around the enemy's base. Chances are, there might be an arty hiding nearby.

I don't think anyone attacked him. We simply pointed out an error in his post- That the assumption that they were disabled is wrong (but you may have identified a problem from his PoV) Helpful advice that relocating can help to avoid counter-battery fire was also included.

I don't see how that counts as "Attack". Now someone else on the thread? Yes. But that's the norm now.

I don't think anyone actually attacked the OP. They corrected is assumption that it was cheats and hax that were used against him and they offered advice like "move after firing".

The only attack so far seems to be from a steve and is aimed at WG, accusing them of allowing cheating when the subject in question is actually part of the game, as in "WoT allows all sorts of dodgy stuff so they're not really that bothered to start with".

Damn. Beaten to it.
