I remembered i got this glourios from i don`t remember what event? as with the today`s offer. So i played 2 games and made this review:

Main features:

 - it borrows the german heavy pattern of fake hollow mantlet which experts will totally agree as in this forum

 - it spams gold from all other players

End of it.

Congrats, you figured out it has a stock KV-1 turret with some parts as low as 75mm around the gun. And everyone spams vs it, as well as everyone does with it.

I wish Quickybaby and Jingles would make such comprehensive reviews.

The next will not be a review. It will be about the rebalanced EBR 75.

guess you are confirming my point that you failed to play kv220

the hull is massively armored and you just need to bait people into shooting that while trying to hide the turret somewhat which is the weakest point, alot of people will struggle or plain unable to pen your hull, bunch t6 tanks will bounce of it aswell. you can easely get over 50% winrate with it due to that factor alone.

to support my statement more; here have a winrate curve of kv220 showcasing it is stupidly powerful to farm winrate

Isn’t it common knowledge by now that if you see a Kv-220 you just shoot it in the turret? Same as the Churchill III.

for any kind of decent players it is yes, but in the tiers kv220 faces there are still an awful lot of people that have 0 clue about it. while i been marking kv220 not too long ago the ammount of people i faced that have 0 clue about turret weakspot was gigantic

So roll over is the way to go? Or like a turtle?

I always tell my teams to shoot Churchill 3 and Kv220 in the turret.  people often auto aim and get the hull which is pointless.  Though the Churchill 3 does draw gold as does most heavies these days.  people bounce one, so they switch to gold.  Only Urquaan is gold proof in his kv4 ;)

Why do all your replies have either "fail" or "try to explain"?

It certainly is the place to shoot it, but unfortunately for many players the hull is so large and mesmerising they have no choice but to shoot the hull and then rage. The way to play the KV-220 is to mercilessly spam premium ammo from the puny gun, job done.

KV1 with 57mm and lots of gold ammo is an utter monster. Almost 200mm of pen and off the chart DPM, angle then farm...
