Sure he's a dog and sure he doesn't have thumbs, but it doesn't mean that he's an old dog and it doesn't mean that he can't learn new tricks!

Maybe giving him Brother's in arms won't work because he only has legs, but if they can have sisters in arms that works together with brother in arms why can't they add paws in the party?

Maybe his brain isn't developed enough to have Sixth Sense, but I'm sure that his advanced sense of smell and hearing could be an even better skill if they just gave him the chance to train it.

They may not want his help driving, shooting or even loading the tank, but it doesn't mean that he couldn't help with the spotting.

So, what do you say. Should the crew be able to bring along some Scooby Snacks in order to help Szarik along in his efforts to show that he's one of the crew or should he just stay in the garage, wag his tail and bark every once in a while?

(Why do they make it so you have to select "one" vote AND click a checkbox next to it BTW?)

Yes.

Dogs are magical creatures - mine often lays eggs in the back garden.

Quite an achievement for a subservient quadruped!

Cant we use him as one of those dogs the soviets attached bombs to and trained to go under tanks? I mean with them they just went under their own tanks but thats not the point

The early poll results seem to show that the whole world (Fox news poll) is in favor of allowing him to have skills, so we may want to hold off on training him to carry bombs for now.

At zero skill he will run under your tank 90% of time, at 100 skill he will go hunt down unseen Enemy TD or SPG, blow it up and run back to get another bomb.

No one.    I just think making it an early skill might be self defeating (as pointed out)

Wait till he's an old dog before he learns that trick

Those eggs are great to save and hand out at Easter TIme along with all the other chocolate covered goodies.

Oddly enough I've never had anyone come back for 2nds

I have some skill suggestions:

1 - Barf

2 - Fleas

3 - Rabies

4 - Bristol Scale 7

I think the Barf and Fleas work well as skills, but Bristol Scale 7 would either have to be a perk or he would have to work up from scale 1 to 6 and only get to 7 once the skill was at 100%

Rabies would definitely have to be a perk and not a skill.  You either have it or you don't, there really isn't any progression.

I think I must have obtained the Rudy post bark, either that or didn't have sixth sense trained at the time.

Just as a side note (and not really serious of course, but still needs saying),:

- I hope there are no aspiring forum moderator's casting the "no" votes.  I'd hate to see what this place would become under such Spartan control!

The fact, is that the dogs were essentially suicide-bombers, however due to different smell of fuel for the german and soviet tanks, they were often mistaking enemies for their own, therefore were usually shot.

Maybe we'll leave that work to the Basselope

Incoming leak from Supertesting -

Szarik buffs have been tested on the sandbox - but someone made a bit of a mess in the corner and they are not sure where the pooper scooper is........  so in summary we cannot make the object 43... errr Szarik buffs you wanted, and to respect the poll they will leave Szarik in his unbuffed state as that is exactly what you all told them.... in other news WoWs balance department confirm that this is also what their spreadsheet tells them - no Szarik buffs required - spreadsheet tells us we are all happy ;-)
