Left one leads to the T-62A, right one to the Obj. 140.

I don't expect to fire much standard ammo out of any of those as the difference in pen is too big IMO. Right one looks derpy as all hell, but fires more than a shell more per minute. Since I'll be going for both tier 10s eventually and have some other grinds to finish first I don't care wich one I unlock first. Please take that into consideration before answering.

Thanks for your input.

ps: Equipment is Optics/Rammer/V-Stab, crew has Sixth Sense (Zero-Skill), BiA and a little Repairs and Recon (~85%) atm. Will probably grind them to 50% of their next skill before I seriously start to grind the tank (going for Smooth Ride, Snapshot, more Repairs).

I recall trying both and went with the seemingly derpy one as I think it has better soft stats.

Plus save up credits and spam HEAT. It isn't called the HEAT-54 for nothing....

Also regardless of what gun you pick, the Object 140 is your new God.

It depends on your style I guess. Right one if you like to be aggressive and get close, as if you fire HEAT that ROF will work for you. Left one if you play support more and want to connect shots more so then hit often. I personally use the left on mine for my style in it.

I've used the top 100mm as a grind gun on WZ-120, and 215 pen proved plenty enough (no gold rounds used) until I got the big 122mm stick.

IMHO the 201 pen gun is for gold tryhards only, so I would pick the other and work with what I have (that is, 219 pen with the gold saved for the true tumors like Type 5, Bobjects, Maus, etc.).

If credits are no option then you definitely go with the D10 and spam gold like a mother f........ why? simple. It reloads a second faster and has more gun dep so you play it like a bully, even as bottom tier(-1 tier wow big deal) get in other tanks faces and just smash heat into everything that moves. Much fun, much credits.

Pretty much this.

If you want to go ham, DPM gun, if you like to put some distance or not be overly aggressive, snipping gun.

The thing about the D54 "sniper" gun is it's not actually very sniper like. Sure its more accurate at range but it ain't no Leopard PTA. The gun neither has the shell velocity, alpha, pen, reload time, aim time or soft stats to make it a very effective sniper and the T-54 isn't a sniper anyway it's a brawler through and through, a totally wasted tank if it's monkeying about in the redline or some far off bush so all you have is a relatively low alpha tier9 med with bad pen and mediocre dpm.

I think the more accurate one is more fashionable these days. Can't say why that has changed. Have the numbers been altered lately (as in the last year or two)?

Oh definitely, it's no German sniper so don't expect that when leading targets etc. But of those two, the left one for me connects more shots vs the right one at range. As the right one has done more damage to the map then enemy targets on some maps for me and my style. But... that's just me.

I just free xp'ed that D-10T2S a week ago and T-54 worked better (obviously) but oh my I had to spam heat. Of course I knew that but still. There is no reason to choose the other gun because you are going to shoot gold anyway so faster reload is better.

I started with the low-dpm gun. Didn't really work out, but on paper it seemed the better gun to me. Streamer/forumite Yung_xd (or something like that) advised to play with the high-dpm gun. I tried that and never went back.
