T-34/100 - it is not T-43 or KV-13, but good enough.

I found this tank very easy to play, not sure why people are bashing it. Sure, it's not T20 or P.43, but it's good. I like the DPM, and pen. is very good, both on AP and HEAT. The only real problem lies in the low ammo count and it takes some time to get to full speed.

Doesn't it have atrocious gun depression?

Yes, I also think the tank is great, the only bad ones in the czech tech tree are the tier 4 and tier 8.

I hated it. Tho I compared it to tier 7 meds I've played. And KV-13 and T-43 is not two of them. It was terrible and the least flexible tier 7 med I've played for my style. And my least fav T-34 style tank.

It's mediocre. "Atrocious" fits things like SU-122-44 on the same tier.

I found tier 4 to be quite good, of course, provided I had a decent crew to start off with.

Yeah its okay, i kept it in a garage just in case i ever need a tier 7 as i sold all of them before so that means something i guess. Had decent games with it, but its not awesome or anything.

Funny way to write T-34E for best T-34 variant in the game.

It's an ok tier7 med and I would have preferred to carry on using it for the tier8 grind if the option was there instead of that horrible TVP thingy. I liked it for some reason, it had a certain charm about it but it wasn't solid enough for me to recommend or keep. The mobility was a little bit too poor for the tier5 armor it has, reason for that is still keeps the tier5 engine and doesn't get the more powerful T-34-85 upgraded engine so that made its weak armor a bit too exposed for too long. Not sure if I'm seeing things or if it was a bit of poetic licence on WG devs part but it seemed to be a much larger tank compared to a T-34 or the 85 and I'm not talking about the obvious bigger turret but the whole tank just seemed off scale and a much bigger hull and unit overall which seems a bit odd but that means it's an easier target to hit and harder to get behind adequate cover compared to the visually sleeker T-34 and the 85.

Also, what really hurt this tank was it's gun handling. For some unknown reason beyond any soft stats I could find this is just a gun that likes to throw shots into the ground. I didn't mind the poor gun dep and it has really nice pen options and equal shell speeds for all ammo type options available which was also nice and predictable for leading shots etc but it just misses a hell of a lot of fully aimed shots and for any other flaws it may have which I could forgive and work around, I simply can't ever accept a gun that forks me over that often... the game is tough enough without that being a regular factor too. Definitely one of the better and likable Czech pre-tier9 tanks though.

I didn´t like it because of the bad gun DEP. Its also quite sluggish. Its not a bad tank its just that if I want to play a tier 7 MT I much rather play with the T20 which is more enjoyable to play.

To me it made for the worst tier 7-8 combo of any med line to grind. Yuckers.

Very nice carry :)

I free XP-ed my way to this tank, as I wanted to grind CZ line. Still need to buy it, so I am glad this topic is open as I was wondering what other people are saying about it.

I like the tank. Two marked it and chasing after the third mark. Good gun. 250mm heat pen t is just great. 175 i can work with even in tier 9. Not the best dpm but still 7 sec on relaod is quite good and 250 dmg. The only thing I dont like about the tank is the dep  but better than gthe kv85

Personally I bashed it because it has no gun depression to speak off and it has a huge turret without armor.

While I did quite well in it I hated every single match played.

So I revisited this tank today and I must say it doesn't feel like the big stinker it did back then. I might even go as far as to label it "decent".

Mark went up from 70 to 87 on the first game though so apparently players are having a much, much harder time with it. A perception vs reality clash.

To answer the thread title, it is better than either the KV-13 or the T-43.

KV-13 is awesome but that gun depression and dpm kinda kills it when the T-34-85M simply blows it out of the park, and the T-43 is just .... bad.

Gun behaves a lot like a french gun, gotta let it fully aim and it will be awesome.

VTU is similar, many ppl bash it but compared to other grinds out there, you get a t8 where you just have to unlock the gun and you are good to go for the t9.

T-43 and KV-13 are both about DPM. T-43 gets more gun dep and KV-13 gets IS-esque armor.

I 2-marked it on the grind to the Tier VIII, I actually enjoyed it. Would consider buying it back to finish the 3-mark.

I free XP past the Tier VIII, such a hateful tank beyond words.
