I don't think this would work, still the fear of losing Chevron will prevent many people from playing actively, hoping that if the team loses they will at least manage to save Chevron doing some late damage and kills and if the team wins they will automatically get one regardless of what they do, so why to risk your life pushing early? I think if the whole team would lose Chevrons that would motivate people more to play for the win, but then there's the problem of unbalanced MM punishing good players with bad teams, cause realistically on Tier X battle 1 person can hardly carry the whole game by himself.

 

Maybe if nobody would lose the Chevron from the losing team, but only like 5 best players in the winning team would earn it could work better, but then still players will be very selfish, taking bat-chats and other autoloaders and just focus on stealing kills. There's no good solution here tbh, because when your progression is determined by your own performance that will always generate selfish behavior, you're essentially playing against 29 players in every battle, you don't care how your team does as far as you win. In some situations it's better to leave your teammate alone to die instead of trying to save him, cause then he could survive longer and "steal" your Chevron, so why save him risking your own HP, when you can wait till he gets killed and then finish of the enemies that killed him by sniping etc.

 

I don't know how to solve that, and I don't even think that can be fixed, we just have to live with the way it is.

When can ranked battle tokens be exchanged for rewards?

 

Is there a use-by date on those tokens?

Yes i understand what you mean its really difficult to fix this kind of situation...but i'm sure it is possible to make it less selfish as it is at the moment or just less toxic...

we have lot of luck that dmg on teammates are now disable XD

you receive just at the end of the last season the bundle you are able to receive. If you have for exemple the medium one for 7 tokens you receive it or can take it on the last season ( cause in the last season you can earn some more tokens also it is possible that you earn a bigger bundle in my example the 10 tokens bundle for example )

I think the chevron system was far better this season than last, and I saw far less people camping and much more active play this time than last time. It could be better I'm sure, but comparing this season with last season I think they at least moved the ranking in the right direction.

yes this is true ! and I find it good but my explanation was just about some details I saw this season again. I find it good how at the moment ranked is compare to last season or to the first beta iteration ( it was for some years ) this was really crapin the past ! in loser team you lost two chevrons some times and it didnt give some "grey area" where you don't lose or win a chevron.

 

Yes with this i'm completely agree with you.

The problem of this gamemode is the OP tanks, else it would be ok. Also teams usually just sit and afraid to take any hits. If these stuff can be fixed, it can be good. System is also bit too much penalizing player from bad team, I had very badly problem with it at first season.

Think about this WG: you have team battle where your team is totally sheit. How you fix it?
