I find this tank somewhat interesting to play,the issue is that it asks for at least 80% of HEAT clips... and I LOVE it.
HEAT is so good, because you can cause easy detracks, waste repair kits, track again, and for some reason, it's faster than AP.
EDIT: It appears, I have used up at least 1m of credits while grinding T54E1. It's a fast way to be cleansed of corruption!

T69 and T54E1 both feel like playing a tank with dead loader, gunner and broken engine all the time.
They are so very power creeped by autoreloader tanks, its not even funny. Why does Standard B get 268mm of pen when T54E1 has 210mm. Standard B has better pen with regular rounds than T54E1 with premium rounds.
Progetto 46 makes T69 feel like a tier 7 tank.

Looking at T57 heavy... I would say it still can be very strong in certain situations, but the tanks properties make it hard to get into those situations. And gun handling is abysmally bad, so the tank is probably frustrating to play.
EDIT: Just to be clear, T54E1 is also quite bad and you need to shoot lot of premium ammo with it. The gun handling is so terrible, aiming at weakpoints is pretty much a waste of time with 210mm pen.

Sure...T54E1 does 30 more damage per shot, has almost one whole second faster intra-clip reload, and has 4 shells instead of 3 in that clip.
Not to mention it has at least some armor that can be a troll and bounce on occasion, while the Standard B is paper.
It's fine. You are comparing apples and oranges.
One is meant to pump shots at close-medium range while the other can do that at range. That's why the Standard B has more pen and better gun handling, it's not a brawler, and shooting at long range as you know means penetration drop-off is a thing. T54E1 uses AP, Standard B uses APCR as standard. You know APCR loses a lot more penetration than AP at long range.
Apples and oranges, like I said. You're comparing two tanks with different roles, even though they are the same class. WG themselves have already said they want to give different class/role designations to such tanks, to avoid this kind of nonsense comparison.

T57 Heavy on the other hand is just amazing. It is totaly worth it. It has good armor compared to the 2 other heavy autloaders (it is not as tough as the Kranvagn turret armor but overall has better armor and it can actually sidescrape), and the gun has super DPM, it reloads very fast the whole autloader. I didn't liked so much T69, and T54E1 was okish but the grind for T57 Heavy was worth it.
