Just out of curiosity - will we get half-track vehicles in the future maybe? *speculating*

Mostly a difference in propulsion, admittedly with use most prominently on German and American vehicles, we could implement them technically as the difference in steering is already implemented in the wheelies.

Also, while mostly acting as regular tanks, they would feature beneficial wheels in the front making them hard to track - lower armor though though to limitations of the same...

This would also allow for several new tanklines to be implemented (which is really what I'm looking for :P )

It's just plain old fun we ain't got none of it.

While adding new lines would be a fun idea, it's all going to fall through the cracks in the floorboards unless WG is going to bother to address what is by now a whole heap of persisting issues with several areas of the game. IMO, what they've been doing for a while is like driving fast in the wrong direction on the motorway so they keep missing all the exit ramps.

Half tracked...bad mobility, mostly SPG and TD,

OP could say: ''We have WV, we have AE Phase 1, why not a combination?''

They should be tracked if u hit the track, lose speed and mobility if you hit wheels

So you can be tracked, and have broken wheels reducing speeds and turning? Best of both worlds. Tho I suspect if they did, the wheels and tracks would be one module in terms of repair etc.

Why BT serie tanks can not drive away like WVs after a hit?

Just play French tanks like the CDC, they function effectively like tracked vehicles. Fast in a straight line but refusing to turn properly.

Also, they bog down in water, just like French tanks (this is something specific to French tanks in WoT, they handle very poorly in water and slow down enormously compared to other nations).

Maybe a German/American TD line, but still, there's the problem of what to put in high tiers.

Would there be enough to make a line?

With WVs the EBRs were made and used in decent numbers with different variants to create a line.

But weren't most half track vehicles largely WW2 based.

With that shell velocity and fire arc it would be classed as arty. :D

Next wheeled line will be "British"

No WG have already said they are working on a British Wheeled vehicle line.

Presumably there is a struggle for a German line to find high tier options.

British have the Saladin, which was developed in the 50s and presumable with some protoype or fantasty upgrades to the guns/engines you could have two Saladin versions filling the tier 9 and 10 spots.  Which is essentially what they did with the Panhard EBR, with the tier 10 basically having a made up turret and gun but based on a real life vehicle.

Or they could do something funky with the FV721 Fox and it's 30mm autocannon as a tier 10, that could be an interesting option.

I doubt this would be a problem for WG's fantasy department for imaginary vehicles!

SD Kfz could fill the line up to tier 8

And, like almost all german lines, they are WW2 tanks, cars, and sometimes projects

It's not very hard to find 2 german cars for tier 9 and 10, i think

Maybe WG dont want to release an LT with AT gun, like the 75 mm AT gun mounted on some versions of Puma
