I buy my food consumables in bulk and 20 k is ridiculously high, even 15 k feels like a rip off. but at least during some events we used to get 50% discount on consumables, why is it 25% recently, and is that the standard now?  Does Wargaming have a special employee whose sole purpose is to find ways to annoy the player base. On a side note can we create a Gofundme account for a decent tank game and maybe put these companies out of business.

Yup, greedy Wg has become even more greedy. Expect this to happen on tank discounts too at some point.

There's too many credits in the game, WG are taking steps to get the economy under control. This is the new standard.

Yeah, sure, WG are the greedy ones for not giving discounts that they're not obliged to give anyway and not the players whining because they aren't getting given things for nothing..

i got 4 000 000 credits in about 7 hours when i was grinding them for the JagdPZ E 100

now that i have it i do the dingers and shoot Gold so much that i hardly make profit. :D

i've made 600 000 credits in 15 games and im still losing -20 000 :hiding:

so ye, it takes long to grind depending how and what you play.

i've been playing my WZ-120 so i can maybe someday 2 mark it. HEAT shells and non premium tank hurt pocket book.

Seeing that the consumable discount has remained the same for the past few months i would says so,say goodbye to 50% discount.

This is another incentive to make people buy premium account.

I never bought food, only repair/med kits and fire extinguishers but from now on im not gonna buy a single consumable, when i run out of them,i'll just use the fire directives that i got and that's it.

Yes, not liking that they cut the usual discount in half must be an age issue.

WG is throwing credits at us so they have to find ways to make us spend them? One way is ranked but not everyone is wasting their time on that.

Reducing the discount prevents people from cheating the system to re-roll with full credits intact. With only a 25% discount you will lose money.

Whilst you make a good point regarding the credits floating around in game, the offer was originally for 50%. I am aware that they changed it due to a 'typo' and whilst there's certainly no obligation to sell at 50%, I didn't see where they were asked to make it a 'give away' or give goods for nothing.

50%, typo or no is hardly going to cost them big for a weekend and I'd wager the individual responsible for said typo has certainly been informed of it and will be unlikely to do it again.

As for the whining, I don't blame them The price was offered at 50% originally and not 25%.

Consumables used to be for special battles, like clanwars, but with the amount of credits a lot of the players have they have become common in every random battle also and players can not play without them anymore, and get told on youtube and twitch that tanks will be a lot better with food so everyone is buying and using them now.

Wether is it ruining the balance Wargaming had in mind or they just see too many buying them at 50% is not really clear. But people overusing them is certainly the cause for them to be 'only' 25%. And that is still a discount

After two months I get into the game and accidentally see a discount. And only 25% ..... LoL
Some nerds whose idea this is will be honored by the chief with a pack of Vaseline ....
Poor and miserable. Better cannot be expected. Their only concern is how to get another euro out of a dying cow.
They deserve nothing more than

all better players drive most of their tier 10 tanks in randoms with consumables. "RNG for credits". and with gold ammo. and in platoons.

problem is gold ammo, but they make consumables more expensive...

Thank you for everyone that contributed a constructive comment, as for those who found it necessary to lecture and belittle other user's comments especially in defense of wargaming, you are pathetic and get a life.

having said that, I agree with those claiming that this is a ploy so that more f2p players purchase premium accounts. I play with a premium account and have a couple of credit grinding premium tanks mainly the progetto and patriot, and being a decent player it's effect on me are not going to be as significant as to f2p players that rely on these discounts to purchase the consumables that will allow them to be competitive in game. I never really cared about the overpowered premium tanks wargaming keeps throwing in the game like the is3A, defender and lt432, and I understand the need to make premium tanks appealing so they sell more and make profit, it is a business after all, but that doesn't effect the f2p base who although are not spending money on the game, are keeping it alive and crucial to the longevity of the game. this ploy of wargaming to punish those without premium accounts while rewarding those with it, is disgusting. and as much as this post and I as a player are insignificant to them, I want to say, shame on you wargaming.

When they have established a multiple year norm of 50% discounts and then take it away, yes, it indeed creates whines. Just like making anything in this game worse. And why wouldnt it? We are here to enjoy ourselves. Why wouldnt we care if our enjoyment is taken out because of greed.

And? Do that while not having premium time or tanks or while being average player. This hits those kind of players hugely and widens the gap between paid and free to play accounts.

I was dissapointed as well to see only 25%. However I use only small repair/med/fire on all my tanks so stocking up at 50% is nice but saves only 1500/game compared to when bought at 25% (2× 750). I can miss 1.5k a game, not a big deal.

Maybe I even prefer the 25%.... if this stops players from using food all the time. Especially in my AMX 13 90 I struggle with my 'normal' viewrange of a 3 skilled crew, standard equipment and no food and no directives. I get outspotted by mediums and TD's regularly and its really annoying to feel underpowered.

But then again, I guess its part of the game that you need to pay (with money or time) to play tier 9/10 competitively.

Guess I'm undecided about 25 or 50% off.
