Hello guys.

Ok, there are other thread about the bond shop, but none concerned about which tanks are actually worthy to buy, so I need your suggestion about that.

I see a couple of CW tanks, but none of them appeals to me. There is the Deathstar little brother, Liberté and Paytriot plus the STG and some nice tier 5.

So my question is, wich of those tanks is worth its price?

I can say that the T-34s and the french Wolverine totally worth 1500bonds. Probably the Pz Hydro is overpriced, but not sure as I don't have it.

What about the other 6 tanks?

I think the Patriot is the best pick from what is available at the moment but I wait and hope that the T-44-100, Sumoa or Lorr.40t show up.

For me the M60 is worth it plus the Patriot.

STG definetely no, FV 215 and Liberte maybe.

Dont know about the 121B or the lower tiers.

I won't necessary buy anything at this iteration. Just asking if there is some tanks that is good for that price.

A credit maker may be nice, but if those tanks are considered meh or overpriced, I can wait untill the next set.

Tier for tier competitiveness the Patriot is probably the best one there, though it's not as good as it was. (and by the looks of things the E75 TS or the M54 renegade might power creep it further as better mobile premium tier 8 heavies)

 

Everything else there is pretty average to bad.

 

The 215b is bad, its a bad Super Conqueror, which is a bad T95/FV4201.

 

M60 is decent but not meta, it's like an HE proof Leo 1 with better gun handling, not played 121b but looks better after its buffs, like some sort of hybrid between a Patton and T-54. 

 

Mutz is just meh, there are way better tier 8 premium meds. Same with Guard. 

 

The tier 5 TD is just a premium Wolverine that trades DPM and gun handling for mobility.

 

The Pz IV Hyrdo is not a Panzer V/IV, enough said.

 

EDIT: If you aren't after a fairly rare CW tank then I'd say none, none of those tanks are actually very good. 

 

215b probably has the uniquest playstyle, but not a particularly fun one as its a giant, slow, rear turreted heavy tank that has wonky armour and gets set on fire all the time, whilst also basically has a helicopter landing pad for arty to land shells on, so if you are after a challenge........

Tier 5s can't be considered good credit makers at all. Both the M10 and the T-34E are fun little tanks but that's about it.

 

The better tier 10 is the M60 but i don't know if you play tier 10 a lot or if you are willing to dedicate that amount of bonds for a tier 10 tank that probably won't suit your play style. It got no armor to speak of.

 

The STG is basically a TD with a 122mm gun. Nothing you can't do better in a Skorpion or any other medium with the correct turret placement.

 

The Patriot got an annoying gun with less turret armor than the T32. Play it like a real heavy and it won't be pretty, don't like it or recommend it for bonds.

 

Liberté you can get for free through the referral program. Even more annoying gun but it got more hull armor.

 

The Mutz is an interesting choice but again i won't be spending bonds on that. Good accuracy, okay gun handling, good penetration but no armor.

 

Note that the current selection in the bonds shop will not change for quite some time and you're probably looking at this like the premium shop. Try to separate the two, these are mostly vanity items.

This is exactly one of my concern, the fact that I don't know how frequently the offers will vary.

From most the post I see, I think that I won't buy anything. I already got the T-34s and M10 from marathons. I was curious about the Paytriot, but guess is not as strong as it looked like when went live. 

M60 looks indeed cool, but I guess I would be bad at playing it. 

So, yeh, will likely keep the bonds. Maybe they will put out a Lowe, the Deathstar or one of the premium I tested and liked.

I love the 416, but STG doesn't appeal to me. Maybe STG owners could convince me, but I doubt it. Patriot and especially Liberté looks nice to me, but the camo doesn't.

M60? Are you kidding? Even if they remove that giant tumor it would still be mediocre t10 at best.

What's the M60 got that the tech tree T10 Patton hasn't?

 

STG is meh, it's a bad Ravi as it has poor gun depression and even worse shell velocity. The camo rating isn't bad I guess, also the rear turret makes the depression feel even worse.

I would say save your bonds for a better deal. The current premium tanks arent that amazing.

• 215b is trash; basically a terrible Super Conqueror, don't bother. The rear turret is just a huge hindrance (it can't sidescrape like at all), and it burns like a candle. The armor in general is also trash.
• Patriot is okay I suppose, not nearly as strong as it was on release. However, with how frequently it is sold on premium shop, it's not very unique choice or anything. If you want a decent tier 8 HT premium, and don't have/cant afford one for money, though, then I guess it's an option to consider.
• Liberte similarly a very strong premium in past that with powercreep and all has gotten significantly worse over time. Besides, the better-looking non-skin version is permanently available on the tech tree, and it can be even obtained for free from the referral program. I don't recommend getting it from there. It can be an okay pick if you can't afford a premium for money, but I'd rather save bonds for something else.
• Mutz is...no, don't bother. It's not unique, very good or anything and just like Liberte it's also permanently sale on premium shop as well. 
• STG is a decent option as the tank from what I heard isn't too bad or anything, but the non-skin version is available on tech tree as well for gold, just like two previous vehicles. If you want it for it's playstyle and can't afford it for money, then maybe, otherwise don't bother. 
• Pz IV hydro is trash, don't bother.
• T-34S and M10 are cheap as heck so that's something but I reckon most people obtained those from the marathons, so they aren't an option for many people.

 

Personally, unless you desperately want a tier 8 premium AND can't afford one with your money (or don't have gold stacked up), I would just save bonds for later offers. Like Tajj said, Patriot is probably the best option as the tank is still decent, has some value as you can't get it for gold and the bond price it is sold for isn't all that bad, but even then, I'd rather just save it for later offers.

 

The moment I saw the offers I knew I wouldn't use bonds on any of them. I'm just gonna save up bonds and wait for other offers.

Hmm just compared M60 Vs the tech tree one. Main differences is the extra speed of the M60 and higher gun accuracy.

I bought the FV because it was the only heavy tier X available. And because I recall they said that the price of the tanks will change (rise) once plenty of players buy the tanks. Maybe that's not accurate, but I didn't want to wait and wake up a few days/weeks later that the price has skyrocketed.

From Tier x, if you can play well enough to get reward tanks then none
If not then both m60 and 121b are worth it, since the other way you can get them is the bond auction where they cost way more.
But you might want to wait if they rotate stuff like vk72, 907, chieftain or something new. That might take a while tho
