I have been whining for years that I can't get results in the Skorp G, and I still can't, despite it being supposedly OP.

But the SU-130PM is another matter.  Both tanks are very similar, indeed almost identical, in terms of guns, speed, etc.  The Skorp is a bit zippier and has more armour, not that it counts for much at tier VIII

But what the SU has is invisibility, whereas the Skorp carries a neon flag

For an averagely skilled player I'd take the SU over the Skorp any day.

I agree, I think SU is better at camping. Skorp is better at relocating fast.

Both vehicles can relocate fast, the difference thier success at it.

With Skop you need to take "detours", whereas the SU can go directly, hence their speedifference can be neglected.  SU 65km/h Skop 60km/h

An Autumn depression?

"The Skorp has more armor", never thought of that. I like the camo of the SU, but it feels sluggish, which really annoys me. Quite rare that it's really a choice and not just one vehicle being plain superior to the other.

Sold my skorp

A boring campermobile

T103 much much better because you can push with it and bully stuff

Revisited my Jpz105 too, does the same stuff better as long as you are map aware

Only played them in FL, not Randoms. But I quickly dumped the Skorp for the SU there. It was always my go to tank for defending F to name one. As with the TS-5 on Turret 5. It has given me some rather rapid general ranks. As as you pointed out, the main reason was that I did feel like one was carrying a neon sign with an arrow pointing right at it. The lower profile did help too on the SU.

The SU is more sneaky, hits harder and it fits a more quiet and slow play style. Can't say the less accurate gun is noticeable. Skorpion's mobility will get you into trouble if you aren't careful but it's the better tank overall.

at 19 deg/s gun travers it is reaaaally slow.

Otherwise, in my garage the diffence is 80 dmg per match more for Skop at about 2k per match.

Not much use when it just means you're getting shot in the arse instead. Not getting seen in the first place is preferable and the SU has good camo to do that.

My feeling about fast tanks is that (as Johhny Cash said about pistols) they can get me into trouble but they can't get me out.  I slightly prefer Steve Earle's cover

If you need that full rotation you got you a big problem

Skorp turret rotation is glacial

Makes them a doddle to flank close up

I guess the idea was to have hand-cranked turrets, keep Greta Thunberg on side and all that.

This strikes a chord with me as this evening I was try to red line my Skorp but got killed by a wheelie,  Must have missed him half a dozen times through a combination of incompetence and lousy turret rotation

Skorp is so much better than the SU you cant even mention them both in the same sentence. The only thing the SU does better is fapping in a bush on the redline. And if you like that kind of gameplay the Borsig does that a lot better than the SU.

Personally I absolute hate the SU. Trollish gun, slow, sluggish, turns like a whale, not fully rotatable turret.... Bleh.

Yeah, you are right.

I also have a bad case of RBF

Took them decades to come up with that accurate description

Going into a board meeting last week the chairman told me to cheer up

Now here we get into the classic forum discussion

Objectively the Skorp is probably better in the hands of a good player

In the hands of an average or worse player the Skorp is likely to be a disaster

It certainly is in my hands

Well, that Skorp isn´t really a TD but rather a paper MT with the best tier 8 gun. If you try to play it like a TD the bad camo will kill you. I guess that is why many players fail with it.

I've tried the Skorp as an MT and I've tried it as a TD.

In all case with disastrous results

It needs a more skilled hand on the tiller than mine

We are now drifting off into the usual Forum discussion in which brilliant players cannot understand why average players are not as brilliant as they are.

You are not averagely skilled player you are under averagely skilled player.Thats why SU fits you better bcs its harder to spot you when you redline camp.Skorp is better TD.You need to work with your cammo and cammo mechanics and you will see that is better than SU and for love of god you have about 11 sec reload on Skorp when you shoot you fall back then poke again. Its not E25 that can fap on everything from bush while being unspotted.

Yep you average 2 shoot worth of dmg in your Super Pershing.Nothing to see here folk.

For me skorp is beter.

I have both.

Su beter camo, skorp have beter gun. Faster aim.

And must say that I have perfect crew for skorp and this camo is not big problem.

Btw I have steel wall with my skorp. They cant touch me :)
