You are right, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense . But universally the top 3 winners always get the best prizes: gold, silver and bronze. So it feels kinda weird that third place gets so much lower of a reward in this tournament.

 

Maybe next time make it like this:

 

• 1st Place – 500,000 + 90,000 + 15,000€
• 2nd Place - 250,000 + 72,000 + 7,500€
• 3rd Place – 200,000 + 54,000 + 2,500€
• 4th Place – 150,000 + 36,000 
• 5th-6th Place - 100,000 + 27,000 
• 7th-8th Place – 75,000 + 18,000
• 9th-10th Place – 50,000 + 18,000

sounds like a decent suggestion, we might do that
