funny that i did not have any issues with EU 1 & 2 . . .

neither had any issues with WoWs server in the last week . . .

lag, packet loss, etc . . . is not caused by a "faulty server"

even wargaming has no control over what their ISP connection issues are

Explain to me why every single other program during the lag issue worked fine.

Since you are so enlighten in this matter.

if you mean by programs other games they might follow a different path/route to their servers bypassing the problem causing your lag/packetloss

1 node between you and WG servers going down can causse issues and still is not WG's fault

agreed.

This is why people ask for Pingplotter to be used as it can identify if the problem is a node between the player and the servers.

It's true. You can't tell me my 100mbps connection is at fault when it's working flawlessly with browsing, torrenting and video loading.

If your in the the Uk and using the likes of virgin media then quite frankly Yes it is!  With it's lag spikes, dodgy throttling down and rerouting during  peak times a with the  upload speed up with its latency is terrible  on virgin broadband.. Which really does make a difference in online gaming as you not just downloading but uploading as well..

  Change your ISP

We did our best to mitigate the issue, sadly not for everyone it's possible to fix it on our side.
"Unfortunately we have no other options to route traffic towards DTAG and we have no direct partnership with them.
I would suggest player to contact to DTAG (his ISP) for further troubleshooting."

This means if you still have problems it might be necessary to contact ISP to sort this out

I'm in the UK and I use Virgin. I have no problems playing woT. No lag, no latency, no lost packets.

So the player needs to check his links from his home to DTAG, hence why running Pingplotter is always recommended.

are you sure about that?

lag packet loss and everything connected with the term "lag" comes from their servers

last week servers shut down 2 times, for the whole week i had lags

my internet is perfectly fine

yeah i am sure

having a stable regular internet connection (surfing, youtube, 9gag, etc . . .) does not guarantee a stable connection to the WG servers

in 9,5/10 of the times lag/packet loss/ etc is not WG fault but a issues somewhere between your pc and WG servers (a node is down for example)

if something runs 24/7 like game servers, downtime is to be expected at some time, this is not the end of the world

Trying to see the mission or campaign window is permanently bad; I'm always getting disconnected lost connection to server after a long wait.

Only time I can view it now is work days as its off-peak, but get children off school and its back to disconnections again.

In game pre 1.7 the random lag was here and there, but gone now.

Ok, so then, my ISP is for connection in my country, some EU ISP (Telia, Tcom, whatever) is for connection, and then WG is only responsible for their server, and they have no influence in net traffic at all.

Oh dear, that is not the way it works. They also have contracts with multiple, and if the problem is between a large hun like the Frankfurt one, and their server, that part is kinda on them and their provider. Since the travel to the hub can be my ISP, but from there its them/ISP.

The sad part is that nobody can have an influence on that, like you said when the nod is down..its down, and thats it.

that's NOT how it works

again: WG has no influence on your connection and 99% of the time lag, packet loss, etc is to be found somewhere between your PC and the WG servers

WG as far as i know has no responsibility to the stability of the internet between your PC and their servers

even WG does not operate the servers directly

can WG ISP have issues?

yes

but even that is not the responsibility of WG itself
