hi guys

so out of all those t8 tanks which one do you think is the better tank?

i have enough bonds in my main acc to pick one so i want to chose wisely.

tanks that im interested in are mutz , guard , and patriot but idk which one to pick. is it possible to use the patriot as a medium tank? if not between mutz and guard which is the the better tanks?

i like to play with medium tanks.

thanks

Dont own all of them, but the paytriot is a Heavium. I always go with the mediums in it, since fighting other heavies is generally a bad idea. Also look on youtube; several community contributors like skill4ltu, dezgamez and quickybaby I think made vids reviewing the tanks available in the bond shop.

Considering your top 3 most played tanks are all TD's I would say Mutz could be the one for you.

Would go for T26e5, cheap shells (good for making credits in sh), good pen, solid dpm and awesome when hulldown.

Only the gun is kind of sluggish, not everyone is getting used to that.

Plenty more from other CCs to help you decide if you search for it.

Isn't the Guard more like a TD since Mutz isn't like a TD at all?

Best tank out of those tier 8 premium options is the Patriot, all the rest are fairly mediocre IMO.

I really could not recommend any of the current T8 mediums in the bonds shop

They are selling stuff that isn't selling well in the cash shop, like the Black Market event T34 which was used to soak up millions of credits

If the Mutz interests you then grind your way to the Indien panzer in the German tech tree which is one of the better tech tree tonks

The STG is probbly the best of the lot but it isn't very good for doing medium work because even when pimped up it has a 12 second reload which is too slow for brawling moments

So hang on to your hard earned bonds for the moment is my advice

I tend to use my Guard like a stealthy sniper. It’s highly mobile with a decent boomstick

If you're a TD guy then the STG has an accurate gun, decent camo(33% without a net) and not bad armour

The gun depression is really annoying

Mobility is fine

But it's more a support tonk, not usually a front line medium

Scorpion G and T67 that he plays have a very similar playstyle to mutz. Mobile, turreted, no armor, good for bushwanking :bush:and occasionally supporting a push.

Its gun depression is also helpful.

Guard can also work, but imo mutz is closer in playstyle to the Scorp and t67 than Guard.

Performance wise, all the 4 tier 8 tanks are very close with the Guard being marginally better and the Patriot is similar to the Mutz. You're not losing much if you choose the tank that you like or suits your play style.

The Guard is like a TD with rear mounted turret, good accuracy and bad shell velocity. kind of limited game play but it works apparently.

Wasting bonds on tier 8 prem is just stupid. Think about how much time and effort it takes you to get 8k bonds (don't count Steel Hunter mode). I'd understand if you really, REALLY want the tank, but with the current selection there's no actually good tank to get. Mutz and Guard are complete trash, Patriot is OK, but it looks pathetic when you campare it to caern ax (which you could get for free), AMX heavy you can get for free by doing recruit program.

Both of them are more TDs than mediums, although the Mutz gets the edge at accuracy and mobility, while the STG has the alpha, plus lower profile, but in general, they fanction more as snipers than mediums. A medium needs to have the ability to be more aggressive, when needed, and both of them lack in that department, and the Mutz is actually worse in this, because it is pretty much paper (STG has, at least, a semi-viable turret).

Mutz seem like a straight forward standard medium to me. I play it like I usually do and it does the same things that they usually do. Sure it's not Russian but only the Russians are Russian (the Chinese pretends to be though). The majority are not.

thanks for the information guys

i wont be around after xmas. going on a long break, not because of the game. planning on taking some classes and i like to put some effort into it so i may not be around until next summer. thats why im going to spend my bonds and enjoy it while i can.

i play both td and mediums a lot but i enjoy playing medium more because its more involving and its not limited to a certain play style like tds.

what im looking for is a tank with a reliable gun and speed. which one those tanks do u guys think will fit that style for me?

btw im watching qb and other streamers from time to time but i dont think their reviews are up to date. they do review on and before the date the tanks are released.

Reliable gun ==> Not the Patriot.

Speed ==> Not the Guard.

Reliable gun and speed could be the Mutz.

The Mutz is the closest but it's a bog standard 240 medium and the Indien in the tech tree is a free version you can try out first

Skill4ltu did reviews of the 4 bond shop premiums over the last couple days. 3 games each and no premium ammo, should give you a pretty good idea what you're gonna get.
