No, absolutely no workaround whatsoever. WG has decided this is necessary even if you play only a single one of their games.

I don't consider it bloatware unless its running and using resources

The center is 279 meg on my system not much for me to worry over and currently I do not see any impact on the game performance.

Its quite possible there will be a workaround will have to see, if not then you have a decision to make.

You had a launcher/updater before, now you just have a different one.

And that's the world we live in now. You want to play any game. You need the launcher or store to run it installed separately. And the list of those clients grows longer each month. And I have 12 different installed as is for my games. Heck even the makers of "I am bread" have their own now for their games they launched last week. Personally I don't mind it as I play all 3 games. But for those that only play WOT, I kinda see the point they make. But at the same time, it's not much different vs the hidden launcher they had before. As in you don't need it running to launch the game.

What's the big deal? I've been using the launcher ever since it was added as an optional thing.

People will find anything to whine about.

sorry to say its one hell of a difference between the original installer to the game center

installed apps on the program

a way to advertise via this program

unlike the original game exe or its eula agreement

http://forum.worldof...ng/page__st__80

you cannot use one eula agreement for 2 different programs that is being run on a persons machine they are entirly 2 differnt program sets with differnt protocols within each program

Two options me thinks....

1. Don't use WGC so don't play WoT.

2. Configure WGC so it closes when you start WoT.

Their game, and it's free, their rules but whatever you do don't make a song and dance about it.

I did install WGC at one point.  It caused me quite a few issues.  I could not fully remove it without a Windows re-install.  Personally I've no faith in WGC and no intention of installing it again.

Hopefully someone will come up with an alternative.  Otherwise, if there is no other choice than to never play again, then that will be the outcome for me unless maybe someday I will have a second pc with nothing significant on it at all.

Good luck to all who have no issues with WGC.
