If World of Warplanes, Warships and Blitz is on Steam, why not add World of Tanks too

I know why!

Because warplanes and Ships have small communitys/player base....so WG dose everything to get those games rolling....

WOT is large enough....so they dont need the advertisement on another game platform.....and why they dont do it MONEY

If they add WOT to Steam ...they have to pay steam also for a sale (steam will get his share) so less profit for Wg or more expensive for the player...

Also they probberly have to give discounts away at the steam Summer/xmass,sales.and those discounts at steam are high not like WG so called discount thats not a discount(where they add a huge amount of semi useless stuff)

So its not proffitble for Wg to add there flag ship to steam.

Same like Why the new Need for speed  is not selled on steam becuase the developer keeps there flag ship on there own platform and there some other games.

Discounts and participation in Steam sales are entirely decided by the developer, not Valve. They're also very beneficial to those developers as it's puts their game centre stage again and gives it effectively a relaunch.

Warships, Warplanes and Blitz are popular on Steam and a lot of people play them, and they already pay for licenses for those games so why not add WoT on Steam too, more people will play the game and it will have double anticheat (WoT one and Valve anticheat)

A: Valve anti-cheat doesn't see the difference between your garage mod and cheat mods in your res folder. WOWS players have been banned on steam for crew icon mods more so then aimbots. Just like CS 1.6 players got banned for having bots installed for local play.

B: Store. As steam still takes 30% of the cut of anything sold via the steam client variant. And that's not little vs WOWS etc.

C: Accounts. You can't use your WG account to play steam games. You make a new one via steam, so you lose all your progress. WOWS did it, Blitz did it, and I suspect WOT would do it too. So if it did appear, none of us could or would use it tbh. As with so many WOT accounts, they have to pay valve for each one to get moved. And if they did not want to do that for the few WOWS players... You think they would do it for WOT?

Now WT did it, but they did it in the first few months of the game with a low player base still. Not 8 years into the game.

They can make an account merge from Wargaming to Steam or add an option to connect the Wargaming account with the Steam account, Warface did that when they moved from the Crytek launcher to the My.com launcher

Remember, you can add WOT to the non-steam game list so that it shows up on your playing now list.

But it doesn't have a Store page
