You can watch Delta stream. He's lazy but a very good player and a kind person. Ask him when he streams why he did that move and how to play a certain map or a tank. He's also an active forum member so you can annoy him here too.
What do you mean im lazy?! How dare you
On serious note, thanks for the kind words!
I should be streaming tonight!

Delta : it's impressive how agressive he is but succeed to survive.

Never got the impression that he is too aggressive and i've seen aggressive. You see what i did there?
You look close enough and almost every move is: calculated, timed/delayed and executed with great care. Timed to achieve good efficiency and delayed to make sure. Elegant is a better word i think. The most lovely part about this is reconstructing the decisions. It's like watching a human brain working through a plexiglass box.

I didn't say too agressive, but he accepts to lose HP - and if I were that much daring I'll be dead. I have the feeling as you said that he knows exactly when to calm down a bit.
Being aggressive is always how i have been in this game. All about timing, Knowing the capabilities of each tank, Knowing when to take a hit and when to preserve HP. Hard to put all of it into words, but after 64k Games its almost 'instinct' for a lack of a better word.
And i also have my days where i don't do very well also
Few people have suggested i do video guides etc on a few things which im planning on doing after my next project is done, Would be a lot easier to explain some stuff on there i feel.

Hi guys, I've been playing WoT for about 8-9 years now. I've been playing continuously since the earliest days and I've gotten some real bad habits that just wreck my experience. I think the meta has totally overtaken me and I don't know how to apply myself to the maps anymore, or how to best use my tanks. I actually love this game, as awful as it is, and my poor performance is making me into a toxic idiot.
I think the gist is that I'm stuck in the 'heavies go here, meds go here' map meta, whereas the modern meta seems be 'people have no coordination, just position yourself best' which I can't do.
Can anyone help me out? Any guides I could follow or players on Twitch etc?
Anyone else have to basically re-learn the game, maybe after leaving for a while?
Thank you for any help you give this old hog.

This is a pretty old thread, Made it over 4 years ago now back when i was looking to start improving more. Replies in there helped me a lot.
What i will say myself is, Enable replays. Watch your own replays back, Try to see what you did wrong and what you can do next time instead if you find yourself in a similar situation. And if you can't see yourself, Put the replays on here. A lot of the people on this forum will happily watch them and give feedback. Myself included.
Knowing the capabilities of each tank in the game, When to push, when to hold, When to fall back, and so on. Is super important. And while there is more to it than just that, If you want to start getting better i would start with those. Which is where the replays and so on come into it. Its never a fast process to 'git gud' But you're already on the right track by starting a thread and asking for help. As long as you listen to the feedback you'll be fine.
Send me a message in game, And we can platoon sometime as well. Might help abit. Albeit i'm not always free (Lazy as some put it above
) But can always make plans for when i will be.
