WG staff, one word for you. THINK!
This tank would be a beast for tier IV, V and VI. When player learns how to play it, it would be a tragedy to play tier VI. So for first time: think´about it.
And honestly it's quite inappropriate to put it out two days "as a celebration of Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia." I understand that for you it's something so sad like Stalin's death but please (for the second time) think about it.

So good armor, good mobility, good rate of fire, good gun handling and great accuracy, plus the usual Sovietmagik ™ tracks that absorb half the shots.

It's neither really.

It has horrible p/w ratio, something like 11 hp/t.

 

In contrast the IS at t7 can do 15 hp/t,

PZ IV S armor layout is trash, only turret is good for tanks up to tier VI, Tier VII maybe if the other guy is not familiar with the flat turret face, or is standing too far. And the mobility is a joke, there are aircraft carriers out there that are faster.The ability to relocate is fundamental for meds, and this tank is outrun by heavies. It's a German tank though so it's rather predictable....

 

 

Now for the main part. WG stop this lunacy. You've already infested Tier X with overpowered Soviet tanks that destroy the game balance and make all other lines obsolete (Obj 430 U, Obj 268 V4, Obj 907 e). I play mainly Tier V and VI because you haven't screwed it up yet, what in god's name are you trying to do? Force us to play Tier I to enjoy a match? We don't want more overpowered Soviet tanks in mid tiers too, the power creep of this game is getting out of hand. The T-34-85 M is already a nuisance in Tier VI, now you want to add a tank that is even stronger !? We want you to fix the horrendous corridor maps that make 80% of tanks unusable, and make the older tank lines like the E 50 M line and the AMX 50 B line, along many others that is, competitive again, not introduce more monstrocities that rig the game. FFS if you want to force us all to play Soviet tanks just to satisfy your GLORIOUS RASHA syndrome then just straight up delete all other lines and leave the IS-7 and Obj 430U lines. I've been playing the game since Sept. 2013 and I swear to god you only make it worse every year.

I'm seriously considering giving up on this game and, it's your fault for ignoring the community and screwing up the game more and more.

The new lines are designed to make the old ones obsolete. French loaders? Crushed under a train of Kranvagns. Older meds? One for every ten Progetto, Standard, etc. American heavies or meds? No need, every soviet med has better hull down capability and takes less arty damage. Brit line? Penned by tier 1 light tanks from 500 m then focussed by arty because lolz. Older light tanks? Nice, but new ones can drive faster than your turret can turn and aim at them.

 

Whether you want to pay to stay relevant is up to you. Personally I'd rate this investment as worthwile as putting all your money into Sinclair vehicles.

This tank is very expensive! It has tier 7 premium tank price.

I will not buy it because of that! We have a word here in BG ...

i think if WG will promote japanese premium tanks in chinese server as "japanese tanks invade china"

or some german premium tank on RU server as "german tanks invade russia"

it will cause some official boycott or some diplomatic conflict.

Due to this tank being quite similar to the KV-85 in it's form, I personally don't think it will break the lower-tier gameplay.

Back in the day Soviets had a lot of similar tank projects going on, for example take KV-2, and KV-1.

I would like to take a minute to thank you for this informative, if somewhat selective, response. At least someone listens and we are not just shouting into space.

 

Still, cloning tanks for easy cash is not alright, making half-mirrored, same-sh*t-different background boring maps is not OK by far, and in general, a little consideration, culture wise and also on the money side, would be nice. You sell pixels, pixel gold, pixel silver, pixel consumables and ofc pixel tanks, there can not be a justification to cut discounts and overprice the tanks, not like you spend real money on every unit, but we do, respect or money stream will dry out.

One step deeper, how about Holocaust day discounts? That would be hitting the fan hard.  Already we were asked to play in memory of all fighting men, this month, and I wonder if it includes war crime guys of all sorts.

Sorry WG you lose my money i have 15 prem tanks and 1 year prem,but this is pathetic.The game is soo broke and nothing change only prem after prem and what???

I wouldn't touch these kind of subjects. We want to honor all whom gave life so that we can live the way we want today - that's true, however one has to realize that we're a gaming company, and not a historical remembrance charity of sorts. Thus we try to step back from any topics that might spark controversial discussions, who would need those?
