Can you be more clear pls, because the italic bit can be construed to mean that we are forced a tank if we have the PP for it, which kinda goes against this :

I'll be honest, the Emil 1951/ AE Phase 1 are simply 'meh'.

Good that i can get gold+bonds for those PP's.

Personally, I very much enjoy AE Phase 1, although it can sometimes cause some pain when you're out in the open.

It is interesting tank, but :

- for campaigns 2.0, T32 (easier to ace) + Conq (tech tree is cheaper) + Caern (amazing) are better options since UK+USA

- it is worth 4500 gold + 1500 bonds; in gold value, that is almost 2 months of premium or 4 weeks of FL if you only activate premium time then; in bonds, those 1500 will help me get the 121b which is a far more interesting and unique tank.

In terms of credits, 20m creds / 1 week of FL is not unusually hard to do.

- i have to confess, i'm still a bit upset at the fact it's not a premium, in the first few weeks it was hinted at being a full premium (first t9 premium); it could be translation error, after all company with 1b isk game is too poor to hire proper translators and HQ does not think such a critical thing requires an addendum being added describing what the tank does to clarify fo regional translations (extra xp but not extra credits) .... but i have the feeling that they were toying with the idea of making it full premium and did a bit of a bait and switch (much like the totalwararena code that gave out 7d premium)

- then there's the tank itself, not OP, t9, very limited usefulness, and no real line to train crews for .... as the american heavies are quite bad (and it won't change any time soon)

- i could think that Emil 1951 + AE Phase 1 are unique tanks, never given out again and i'm 'missing out' .... but then i remember the M6A2E1 and the Pz 5/4 (which i bought on black market) and i am confident they will be made available ingame again (probably for more cost but still)

 

So i guess i am really struggling to find the rationalization to take the tank, over the gold+bonds ... especially since my future plans include mostly f2p and focusing on t10's.

It will be available Black Friday probably and defo at Xmas in the advent calender or maybe in the boxes. Whatever, I would hold off buying any tank at the moment. Last year it was genuine 30% discounts and more on most every decent vehicle. They know the tanks we want and they go all out Black Friday and Xmas to ensure we get them and spend, spend, spend and play, play, play. Do not get me wrong I have loved the last couple of Xmases and I also like that usually they give you a chance to buy your way to completing your collections as with any other holiday many of us cannot play a lot over Xmas/New Year week at least, but they run it for a month, so happy days. (Note, the Advent Calender should literally start on Cyber Monday this year!)

See post above. Oh yeah does anyone know if I will get too keep my Frontline personal reserves? I have about 40 of em or something like that and I will not be able to uie them all in the next few days. I bloody well hope so, I worked my [edited]of for them and now I have earnt them it would be just like WG to say that they are not valid next season
