What do you think- should Wargaming remove this spotting position? If someone gets there early in the game they can completely overpower the location. That's what happened in our game too.

Both sides' tanks can get up there, and the middle of the map is flat enough to allow you to shoot southeast into the TD's bushes from there. ...once they're spotted.
But only the north team's tanks can reliably shoot into the town square...and it's easier for them to get spotted from that sneaky position...so it's like a balancing feature.
It makes the map asymmetric. Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't people displeased with symmetric maps? ...or was it the other way around?...I can't remember. Anyway, it's supposed to be a balancing feature. How well it works in practice is up to the players' capabilities.

But I'm at E9 so now those northern snipers are spotted and I have shots down mid road in case anyone went there. South have all the advantages you need for a comfortable win. They just tipped the scale and made it even more imbalanced.
If it bothers you so much rush there yourself and take that spot.
WG put that spot in because north took middle so often and north can shoot into town more easily, but trying to balance bad map design with an even more unbalanced position is not the way to do it.
Plus they also gave south team the positions in the village with the little rubble piles that allows them to go hull down and shoot the middle road so I think that was enough.
You could probably fix that position by just making another entrance to it from the north side, at least that would make it more easily to contest and bit fairer.
