so in 8 day 10 different premium tanks have been put up as special offers. How about actually adding some of them to the ingame tech tree like other premiums, avalable to be bought with gold? It's crazy the amount of time pressure they try to put on you for no reason other than to push you to buy a tank in a certain timeframe. That might work with a game thats 1-2 years old, but tanks is not 1-2 years old...

An otherwise good tank ruined by a glaringly obvious and HUGE weak spot.

9 degrees of gun depression might suggest you can work a ridgeline - but the massive weak cupola will be out in the open before you have a decent shot to take.

TBH i do like my Patton 59. I admit the wedding cake on top could be smaller at least size of the new Raumpanzer view port, but this tank has a good hull and turret armor, and if you play it combined with coated optics it can be a pretty good sniper. Oh did i mention the good gun handling and 212 pen? Honestly Patton 59 is enjoyable in FL.

Well, the huge weak cupola on the turret for one ......

Just like on the Chieftain/T95.

Well at least when they added that cupola they gave it 400 view range as compensation,

Raumpanzer got a dozer blade instead.

Now, if whenever your 59-patton gets destroyed, that thing detaches itself as an escape pod so you can drive it around and shoot... Everyone would buy one!

I remember last time I took out the Patton 59. It was a Tier X match, of course, so I tried to play defensively from the back. Managed to place two shots from a distance, one went wide, the other bounced from Tier X armor. Then I found myself facing a 430U, who leisurely took me apart with his 440 alpha whereas could do f-- all against him. Fun! I actually couldn't help myself giggling about the absurdity of the situation ... to think that I had actually paid a full 30 Euros for this delightful experience ...

 

@ Wargaming: Until you improve your balancing you can keep your [editing myself before some overly zealous mod steps in] premium tanks.
