Yeah, considering this is a server run game. And Stadia is broken as is, and you need the reaction time and not input lag. Having a huge delay on firing is not something you want on a game input that has to go from you, to Stadia servers running the WOT client for you, and then to the WG servers and then back to Stadia and then you again. The input delay would be insane.
Stadia might work for some games, less so on others as it stands now. And if they did make one, I suspect it would be the console version or blitz. And your current account would not work anyway.

To get free access to a huge range of top notch games
if Stadia is not gonna end up on the Google graveyard. They gotta star a game pass like subscription. Paying pr game on that thing, as in you don't own it is a bit... thin.

Your wallet will be better off in the long run if you'd just get a PC.
Stadia is a flop, and I don't think it will last long.

I don't think WG would allow Stadia to include WoT, even if was possibly otherwise.
WG doesnt like middle men whne it comes to WoT, as they want the monies for themselves.

Think about that.
To the OP,
I used to play WoT on an iMac. It worked reasonably well, but I found the PC to be a better platform for it. I still have my Mac and although I don't use it for WoT I still have WoT loaded on it. This is handy if you want to do things like exploring new maps or testing view range or cammo. A 2nd account is needed with a couple vehicles and you can then set up a training room of your own.
Stadia might work for many games but I think WoT will not be one of them. WoTs client/server design might not lend itself to a platform like Stadia.
I reckon you will get better performance on the Mac than on Stadia, but if you afford it, invest in a decent PC.

Gaming wasn’t a priority - I just tried it out to see if it ran ok, which it does but on low quality settings. Liked the all-in-one design of the iMac, the nice screen and was just easier with a household of 4 iPhones, a MacBook Pro and an iMac - all work seamlessly with each other.
Anyway, looking out for a nice RTX rig, but holding off until next week to see if there are any decent discounts. Also fancy this monitor: https://www.techradar.com/uk/reviews/msi-optix-mpg341cqr
Anyone had experience of WoT on a bendy monitor?

A Google client running 24/7 on my personal computer?
No thankyou

No, but monitor is the only peripheral I have not tried bending with physical force after playing WoT. Thanks for the idea.
But srsly, looks like a great monitor. I think I would still go for regular 27" IPS screen.

I also presume that you only continue to “own” them if you keep your subscription up.
Ofc, even after the service dies. As atm it seems to be a failure. Tho that said, I would never play any online game on a streaming service. I don't own it, but I know of one that does. 250mb up and down line. And destiny 2 was not responsive at all. Their exclusive game worked as it was not relying on reactions that much. 2nd biggest issue why I suspect it will crash and fail hard, is the fact that the only appealing thing most had about it, was the "on the go" aspect. Issue is that it only works on a few devices. As in the latest from Google. So if you don't have the new Pixel. You can't use your phone for it.
Might was well just wait for X-cloud and see how that works out, as you don't have to buy it to use it. Just own the game on Xbox and get the app for it. And that works on all devices, even for Switch for on the go. So you can play WOT console on it.

This does not mean not being able to do irony
anyway mine is a criticism that has nothing to do with google stadia, in fact I was referring to playing on mac.
I have been repairing these apple computers for years and have been assembling gaming computers for as many years.
Playing and working on apple PCs is just a status due to the image and social value of apple products.
In terms of hardware functionality , Apple's products in the field of laptops and desktop computers have some hallucinated gaps and a monstrous amount of problems of all kinds caused by the obvious choices of this company , ram or ssd soldered on motherboards , video cards or CPUs without a real cooling system that breaks [the cpu/gpu] after a few months and absurd thermal thorttling problems, bad quality batteries etc. etc.
Playing on laptops in general, even more on macs is pure madness.
I highly recommend using a system with much more efficient hardware.
Without even saying that the windows operating system is much better to be able to play, just as hardware manufacturers pay more attention to the development of drivers and applications in windows instead of apple operating systems.
As far as stadia is concerned, if wot were to go on that platform, which I don't think will ever happen, the wg should approve an agreement with google to connect the wot servers to those of google and be able to enable users to play via the stadia platform.
I don't see the advantage for wot, nor for the wg
and then the platform stadia is a paid platform, why should I pay google to play wot which is a free game?
the basic subscription for stadia costs 129 euros in my country, why a player should give google 129 euros when wot is totally free?
With 129 euros on the premium shop you buy a lot of stuff, or maybe we will make a new graphics card, like an rx570 that for wot in 1080p is the best choice.
Do not force a super computer to play wot if you do not want to spend money, with all the mods that exist you can play in 1920x1080 with very low settings even on very obsolete PCs.
