So, with a certain sense of dread, I've begun the UK LT line (please don't hit me).

Re-purchased the Cromwell and slapped the 3.7" Howitzer on it - cue much mirth.

It's not quite the same as my beloved VK28.01 before they castrated it :( - but it sure is fun.

Heartily recommended to anyone who loves mid-tier derping, even if I can't hit a barn door at ten paces with it!:izmena:

You are doing it wrong; True Men use the 3.7-inch Howitzer on Comet. DPM +3,7k on Tier 7!!! Much OP!

That's not something I've seen often. Tbh I've not used the derp on mine since I first got it. Tho I do recall the Cromwell derp being fun back in the day grinding the top gun for it.

I had no idea it could be fitted to the Comet (such a long time since I've played it).

Dusted the old girl off, I'll give it a blast - cheers for the intel :honoring:

Well, IMX 105mm 410 dmg derps lose a lot of it's effectiveness even vs. tier-7. Vs. tier-8?

I never had much luck with them. I have played DERPs with the popular tanks such as the Pz IV H and M4 Sherman as well as the (old) king of the derps, the KV-2. The KV-2 lasted the longest, but it is long gone. The other two (Pz IV H in particular) were terrible.

The thing is, though, when I come up against them- as you say- I am outplayed and one-shotted.

I do love the Hetzer, though (61% WR) and the BT-7 Artillery (56% WR), but for "proper" tiers, I still play the SU-152 with derp and it's not terrible.

Mine were never that much fun when my fully aimed shot went wild.

Tbh, somehow good ol' Crommie has became very derpy, even with normal cannon, shots go everywhere (but not into target ;) ).

The only and ONLY DERPs which I've enjoyed playing were the ones in the O-I, M4, Jumbo (I have it now) and the pre-nerfed broken Type 4 HE gun. I wouldn't count O-Ni and O-Ho in because I always preferred and farmed a lot more damage in their AP guns. Especially when I bought the O-Ho just when they gave it premium ammo for the AP gun.
