Indeed in 1938. (Maj-Gen) N W Duncan wrote of it that it "would have made the British light tank superior to any of its kind in the world"
Though he also said no records of its performance are available and some lengthening of the vehicle would probably have been required.

I don't believe it did have a longer chassis.

Sorry, wasn't clear with my reporting of the article. The author's opinion was that if it the idea had been taken up for production it would have benefitted from a longer chassis.

Not all British designed and built,

Valentines, Rams, Sextons -  built in Canada as well as UK with the Ram and Sexton being designed and built only in Canada.

Sherman's, Grants - built in US (some Sherman's built in Canada)

Sentinel - Australian designed and built (if added can not remember at mo)

Liberty Tank engines used in Cruiser Mk II, Mk III, Mk VI Crusader and the Centaur (offhand) - US license

Yeah fair enough but the Churchill, Cromwell, Comet, Matilda, Centurion, Crusader etc are British.

It doesn't really matter where they were built considering that half the tanks in the game were just prototypes, some not even left the drawing board.

Besides, its called the "British tech tree" - http://worldoftanks....EFIX=/dcont/fb/
, so its British. Just like there are Czech tanks in the German tree, Canadian tanks in the American tree. There will be commonwealth tanks in the British tree. The Sexton is a good example.

For both Ram and Sentinel, British experts were sent over to aid with the design. At that point, Canada experience with tank design was building Valentines and Australia's was non-existent
