That's different event, Advent Calendar is just different offers every day to buy some premium tanks, sometimes rare ones. Decorating tree/Xmass boxes is separate event that usually comes around mid December till mid January. I'd prefer it to run from beginning of December till mid of January though, more Xmass atmosphere is better.

What do they mean by: 

 

"If you buy a tank from your game client which you already own, you will receive compensation of the tank cost in Gold, plus a Garage slot, and free x5 XP for the first 25 victories."

 

So if I buy a tank I already own in the game client as they write... I will only pay for the garage slot and get 25 x5 for victories? (Based on how they sometimes let us buy for gold)

i got myself 24 popcorn bags , 1 for each day ...to sit chill and read about how ppl are  disappointing with this event

means if you buy a tank u already have it, you can't have the tank twice, so you will receive other stuff plus it's cost in gold.

Can I access all of the deals using only web browser? I'll be - as usual - on vacation during the holidays and without a PC, just with my smartphone. And doing the VPN-WakeOnLAN-TeamViewer-LaunchingWoT-RemoteDesktop combo every day is extremely annoying (as I did during Black Market event).

We will update you guys if this is only for purchases in the premium shop or also for purchases done in the game.

Be interesting to see if there is anything on offer I don't already have.

If the Emil 1951 appears I will buy that for certain though I doubt it will be there.

Problem of being here for so many years and spending freely is that you have almost every premium tank and quite a few of the reward tanks.
