Does anyone have ever heard from, or had a ban himself for "exceeding the message limit"? I've never heard of this in the 7 years I play this game.. I sent a ticket to support and got some stupid automated replies. Also the person who wrote a reply to me was even stupid enough to call me "FreakinBiber" which shows they have no clue who they write to and just copy/paste messages...  There isn't even a player on EU which has that username.

I can only tell that you've been banned for spamming. Also, can we see the stupid automated replies?

If I got banned for spamming, they should say it like that and they should ban a ton of players. Nearly every single battle there are players who pingspam minimap at the start of the battle, especially in Frontlines and no one really cares about what they spam. They will go where ever they want to.

I'm not going to post any messages from support, as it will probably be seen as "discussing moderations" and will get me a ban on the forums as well..

Thing is that support just sees "ban" in your title, and they won't lift any ban or tell you why you got banned in detail anyway. So instead of wasting time on such tickets as they can't do anything. They usually are on auto-response for those.

Then again there are also rules here for discussing such sanctions or even tickets...

I don't think you're gonna achieve anything with this thread if you don't at least post their reply.

Translating this for the not so honest side of the forum (like me).

Because this is how you think, everybody else does the same?  Evidence is a reasonable path to truth rather than post hoc thinking.

Humour.  Ever heard of it?  If you're going to haunt the English speaking forum section then please take some time to learn a little of the origin nation's culture.

edit:  doubtless there is some corner of this forum where your mother tongue and culture is known and you could go there instead perhaps with your own like minded folk.

Yes.  Well not me but I have seen it before.

It's something like your client has had some kind of spazm and spammed the server with info.  Nothing you have done.

Happens pretty rarely.

Seems we have a hypocrite here who actually thinks he deserves a ban himself for shaming.

Been banned in chat for saying things how they are. WG don't like being called out for rigging games and such when matchmaking and RNG are too consistently skewed to actually be 'random', and their minions will ban people for voicing such.

Then again WG being Russian could never ever be corrupt - after all, look at the Russian Olympic team's track record as fine upstanding athletes who would never ever cheat or defraud legitimate athletes if you wish empirical evidence of their good behaviour. Or the invasion of Ukraine, for that matter... ofr Stalin's five year plans... Khrushev's policies, or WG's blatant disregard of actual statistics in their weighting of game mechanics.... need I go on? ( :) Smiley insterted to 'prove' what I said is in humour and not at all true in any way...)

Guys and Gals and little furry creatures from Alpha Centauri,

Please keep on topic and don't enter into personal disputes.

Post constructive, and if posting for humour's sake, make sure you include a suitable smiley. Remember, humour does not always come across well in text form.

Regards

UB.

:D:D :D good idea, here's my two three retrospective ones for proof too.

:arta:  that one's how I feel about being (almost) told off.

On a more constructive and serious note, posting the reply from WG stripping out the employee name involved (not that they're probably real anyway) hasn't in the past generated a forum ban as far as I am aware, though the new mods may care to confirm that.  Only then is there a chance the forum can help, though even then there is not a lot that will come from the forum help other than the satisfaction of knowing others may or may not sympathise with you.

If it is only the advice from support then I don't see an issue with that, and it has certainly been posted before without issue.  Take out names, dates, anything identifying.

But no naming, and be careful of your words if you disagree with it.  Having a different opinion is fine.

I this case it's irrelevant.  It's a bug and in the cases I've seen it was only a matter of restarting the client.

More post hoc thinking.  You assume my nationality and culture based upon nothing more that my single comment towards your post.  You then resort to ad hominem to defend your position as if British (English) people have some exclusive claim to humour.  My point is that your comment is unfounded and can perpetuate misunderstandings  and preconceptions.  It is entirely possible to create a joke that does not bias a conversation or poison the dialogue taking place.
