Not played for a good 10-12 months and i kinda guess my personal goals might have changed a little with this game..

I used to be fixed on chasing up to tier 9 to play there as that was generally known as the sweet spot ie a decent tier for tanks being balanced.

I have always looked to push myself and i guess as a result the 'Burnout' happens as it does to most i guess??...i pushed beyond my skill level

Although ive never felt comfortable there ive always considered the mid tiers just on the edge of seal-clubbing (Dont judge me) as its easy to do well there with your 4 skill crew ..but now

i wish to play for lols im thinking of doing just that at tier 5/6 and 7...and hell!! ive also been looking at mabye playing arty there ...and then working up the tiers:bajan: (Ok judge me now)

..and even tho the Foch 155 with full HE still seems tempting going with the meds in a tier 10 game for the lols.. i guess im looking at other options:deer:

So where do you find your fun in the game....what tier?...and why?? (Food for thought thats all )

It's already hurting my eyes to see you only have 8 battles in it

VIII, IX And as of recently, a wee bit of Tier X. I'm not interested in really moving into Tier X Though, as I find IX A lot more fun, but missions are a tad easier and the only ones that look interesting (and is the case for three of my tanks) to me are those where I feel like the Xs would be better than the IXs for me.

Tbh. Most of my favorites are on tier 7 and 9. But today on some of the mission stages I went Swedish Leo and Comet for most of the games with a dose of Super Hellcat now and then vs the Standard B that did the earlier mastery missions.

I was thinking more specifically campaign missions, namely for the Chimera but a 260 Mission every now and then on the side is quite nice to complete as well.

Well to be fair, you are comparing it with the 122mm on the SU-152 using HE. It doesn't have 530 on the 152. As then it out DPM's it a fair bit.

IMO the tier 8+ Chinese TD's are not worth it. Tier 6 and 7 might be tho. As they have insane camo and fairly good pen. Mobility is fairly good so you can react well.

I hated the VI Personally, I just didn't get along with it for some reason even though everything about it says I should. The VII Though I found rather fun. That weird masochistic fun, but nonetheless fun.

No need to flank comrade when you are the flank :justwait:.
Also you dmg your enemy with every shot either way soo you almost never even have to even think to flank .
Just now, I were dealing 150-250 dmg per shot 5 minutes ago to a t29 on the turret. Poor bastard didn't even have the courage to advance when I was reloading when I was the only one protecting the side.
But I suppose I don't care about speed when one of my favourite tanks is the Maus and not everyone likes maus speed-like tanks.

Tieres 7 8 9 and 10, 9 and 10 are expensive though because of the gold you need and now FL has gone not much inclination to play at all

Depends on the tanks you play. I had a session of 31 Games the other day in Tier X, TVP T 50/51 + shiny new M48 Patton. I made credits most games, those where I didn't were due to errors on my part (namely dying and doing less damage than my health) and I only used Gold on a few occasions, more so of course in the TVP Than the M48 (but in the end, mostly because I ran out of APCR! :teethhappy:).

Of course, there are tanks that are very expensive to run even if you ignore firing full Gold in them, and then tanks where it's just outright tempting to go with a heavy Gold loadout. In fact, as of yesterday I have my first tank in the garage with more Gold than standard in the form of the Super Hellcat. Then you have to take into account player skill levels, where obviously it's much easier for me to make credits in a Tier X Tank than Joe Average who may struggle to regularly deal enough damage as he has health, but I was hoping to tackle more the bold part.

Mainly play tier 8 at present but still way too much grinding to do.

Once the grinds are finished ( give me a few years at least ) My fav sweet spot will probably rest with the Tortoise I love a high ping count. :)

But for now it is about playing through a few battles for a grind then switching to tanks I enjoy for more games then switch back to a grind.

Tier 9 is my favourite,  But since I'm platooning 95% of the time with BEXF, its a rotation,  Tier 5 (found a new love for the M4 and Sherman III)  and 6 (6 is brutal in a tier 8 match up) Plus dropping tiers is actually fun. But platooning seems to bent you over in MM more than I would like

Tier 8 isnt as bad as it was, so rotating some premium tanks.
