I can see how it might be more difficult if you don't have higher tier tanks

 

The problem was that the person who did the miscalculation and misinterpretation of the missions was the first answer and people believed it rather than reading the article themselves and thus it snowballed. It will keep on happening like it has happened so many times before.

Yes you get a few credits back for the tank you had to buy for 20 euros. People who did not spend the money get the tank for free. Good thinking WG.

You can only redeem the rewards until the month is over, when the next edition starts, you cannot redeem prizes from the previous one.

It's the classic EU office at it again, the event has been up and running nearly a day at this point and still not a single word about it on the portal where as 3rd party sites hinted about the possibility of such an event on the 30th so effectively 4 days in advance and the start date was listed on tankrewards.com at least a couple of days before the event started. To make it better their "New specials for a New Year" monthly rundown video doesn't mention a single word about tankrewards but says that "January is going to be a quiet month".

They also said they realised they overdid the events a bit in 2019. We are now one week into 2020 and we have three events overlapping eachother ...
