Maybe it's just me, maybe I'm not particularly interested in this tank or maybe I'm just not really being baited enough by the lame stage rewards but... I don't really care much to chase this marathon tank or any of its stages. I played loads of battles yesterday for the first time in months, as in THAT many battles in one evening but it was just because the evening fell that way tbh and I was either grinding credits with one hand down my pants or goofing around in a T49 derp so... it most definitely wasn't a case of me chasing marathon stages and I'm just not interested in this particular marathon.

How are you guys going about and feeling about this marathon. Do you think it's the same as normal or do you agree that the stage rewards just aren't really drawing you in enough to bother? I don't know... it just feels a bit flat and meh...

that's how much i care

Sure, It's a Tier VIII Heavy tank which you can get without spending a dime, but the tank really isn't that special and the missions are too brutal while I've got lots of better things to do with my life. Everyone can buy it, sure, but I'm not spending cash on this game. Just not worth it.

Not at all interested. I can buy it for 40 quid or whatever - or devote hundreds of frustrating hours to it. It's basically impossible in any case!

The tank is decent, but i decided no more marathons. The amount of time required is way to much for a bad-average player like me.I can't handle the grind and definately not paying full price of a T8 prem tank after completing some stages.

It's why I don't get why so many buy it on day one for 100% for that price, vs just playing and considering it at 50% off etc.

As yeah, it's nothing uniqe like the Progetto etc. But still... Playing like normal to see where it ends.

As with most marathons, I just play the way I normally do (badly) and if I finish it, great, if I don't then I have earned some discount and then I can decide to buy or not to buy. I am not going to make a grind out it.

My mate who often tells me he is not a unicom, is now on the 4th leg of this marathon, I am not really doing it but then I am nowhere near getting past the 1st leg, but the tank needs more armour and more alpha damage, a tank purely for the unicoms.

He is very very good though and worthy of the top clans, just that some drunken [edited]kicked him from a clan for no apparent reason, and now he is a lone wolf

I played for the T25 Pilot, and having missed one mission for reasons I don't remember I bought one token to get the tank. Given my performance in this, I consider that I spent too much.

I'll collect as many stage prizes as I can with regular play and that's about the limit of my intentions.

Did the first few stages with the mastery missions to get a headstart, now onto a grindy one so just kicking back and getting credits to restock the consumables whilst they're cheap this weekend.

No idea how many stages I'll get thru in the next 10 days, not especially trying, not going to buy it either. It's got nothing special about it like Progetto/EBR did, its just an American heavy tank and I picked up one of them from Frontlines recently.

All in all... meh.

Which previous tank grinds were you excited for? I mean, Progetto for sure, or even the EBR, but TS-5, Caernarvon AX and SU-130PM are hardly essential tanks, or so it may seem.

Something Swedish, something Italian, something Chinese etc...? It's not like there's a shortage of other nations they could have come up with something for that would have been more interesting, especially so soon after dropping an American heavy from Frontline, tho granted not everyone would have got that one.

Hell, drag the Auf. K panther out of retirement and do a marathon for that. It's not like it would require any extra effort as the assets are already in game and requests for it to be put back in crop up enough that there's some definite interest there from the old schoolers at least.

The more wargamming raise the stakes ie the difficulty the less interested I am.

Yes I would like the tank but I ain't anybodys mug and this marathon is crazy even QB has mentioned how it is harder than the last and this is what wargamming are doing making each mission marathon harder than the last and until us the players stop going along with it this will not change.

Once players start ignoring the marathon's stop buying the tank then wargamming will have to rethink how they conduct these mission marathons and deside once and for all do they want them as a money grab (imo pointless they have enough of them already some I detest some I quite like the idea of, the blackmarket is one I quite like the idea of) or are these mission marathons a way of getting players to play more and to tempt players back to the game (imo this is what they should be).

I did the Progetto and SU-130PM marathons to something like a 70% discount.

Didn't care about the Caernarvon AX and I don't care about the the M54 either. If this signals that I've done the last marathon I'll ever do in WOT, I have no problem with that.

I think the only marathon I played and completed was the WZ-111 back in the days on my previous account, and it was enjoyable. Time consuming, but enjoyable. 150k damage and 150 kills for each nation. Also back then you had less nations, 7 I think, so that might be why they're not giving us marathons like those anymore.

In conclusion: me no likey.

Every single time there is marathon such as this one... every god damn tard comes out of the bushes.

99.99% of these people will have 0 chance completing this marathon and WG knows it.

Its just an other money grab while they make the game even worse experience than what it already is.
