Is this game dying and is it still worth starting over again?

Just received my 6 years service gift but don't want to put time in to this game if it is going to be dead within 4ish years anyway.

Well lets be honest, you haven't put that much "effort" into the game anyway.

As Keynes said, in the long run we are all dead.

Statistics know, statistics can show a clear decrease or increase in size of playerbase.

Fair point !!

I just say World of Warcraft and that has started long before 2011... But I get your point.

I read somewhere WoT had a current of 40 million players, but wondered if this is true.

World of Warcraft came out in 2004 and has roughly 12 million players.

On the OP  I look at how many mission marathons/events they are doing the free gifts the regualr discount codes I have seen thsi many times before with games and it is always from games in decline now some do survive but many eventually end. If I am right then wargamming need to start talking to the players more and actually listening to them because make the players happy and they will stay thus the game will survive.

No. Someone who's organs have started failing and the process of dying has set in is dying. But can someone who is middle aged die tomorrow? Yes. He can also die in 40 years....

Stop putting philosophy in to this, this was a pretty straight forward question that can be answered with statistics, statistics I could not find so far.

So a one year old baby has started the process to death. What’s your point again?

This question can be answered without philosophy, dearest politics enthusiasts of the internet.

Check the amount of players that play among the most popular tiers. (6, 8, 10).

Just enjoy the moment. Who knows what you will do in a few weeks.

December is the best month in WOT. Enjoy it.

What I see myself is that year over year online player amount is decreasing. Is it worth investing time in this game? I don't know! You can find some server statsistics here http://wot-news.com/stat/server/eu/norm/en

Everyone and everything is slowly dying.
Like peach blossoms during spring.
Slowly falling to the ground.
To reach perfection.

Amusing it might be but

non-constructive it has become

so this thread is now shut

before it's offensive to some.

Happy 1st of December peeps.
