We should be allowed to tip the players that had a great contribution in battle...or that took a shot for you...or any other motive...

I just experienced a situation where I wanted to thank one player and I wanted to give him some credits ( it could be even gold )...small amounts...like 1000/5000/10000 credits...or 2/5/10 gold...just a thought..

I think you'd be in the minority - how many people actually take the time to say thanks or even gg post battle let alone to send a "gift"

Which reminds me I need to start sending positive post game messages to people that carried or took one for the team

He was talking about people that carried teams not redline snipers...

Complimenting other Players would be nice, but considering how rarely this would happen...yeah, i don't think WG would spend the time and effort on this feature.

In regard to sending other Player credits and Gold: never gonna happen.

This would be abused and would decrease WGs profits.

No need to tip. Just a simple: gg, well played, will do for most people.

What they should do is put a simple thumbs up system. If you get enough thumbs you gain 10% credit earnings for a set time.

Promoting positivity in an game riddled with negativity would be a nice touch.

Oh and to make things fair and even i also tell those who should be doing more

No it's not, People that don't understand the difference are generally the biggest crybabies in game because they fail to understand when to perform a certain role in the tank they drive on a certain map on a certain point during a random game.

I know a lot of "certain" in there but it is just to point out that tanks can perform different roles during a battle and players that can carry games are the ones that "see" what needs to be done to win. Camping redline all game long is most of the time not the winning tactic...

Well, sound really good.

But for it to work in this world it has to have something behind it, a small credit income, maybe gold or even better a small boost to exp gained in that battle.

And in those same things you would find a way to abuse it.

And of course as they already mentioned, communication in this game is just...barely any except the classic toxic spew.

I mostly type something in chat, just to get some kind of reaction, and I know people do not have to respond, they focus on playing.

Maybe every 20-30 battles somebody responds, says glhf or something like that, if they removed the chat I dont think too many would notice and even less would care.

Nice idea Agrendor. The particular specifics may not be practical, as for business reasons WG probably don't want gold and credits transferred between accounts. But I really like the idea of being able to show appreciation for team-orientated, or kind game play.

There are lots of new forum mods around. I wonder whether one of them could curate a conversation to see how some sort of praise system could work, which could then be discussed with WG?

Yes agreed, yet another tweak to the game wouldn't be such a bad idea, the coding could probably be derived from the space game Eveonline which has exactly that same ability for gifts.

As for in game comments, I do that already, often as simple as an emoji  :)  or the word 'nice' - I've even been challenged in game after typing Nice and quickly came back with 'Really really nice'.

Well we already tend to get a few little bonds for carrying since doing so generally bags and battle hero or epic medal so what would be nice would be 100 bonds instead of the pitiful 2 or 3 bonds we currently get.

Also, the top player who carried should get all xp from the bottom 5 who clearly deserve nothing and created this whole "having to carry" situation by playing like a spoon in the first place. Git gud or git nothing.

Good idea, instead of reinforcing only negative behavior with a reporting system, add a tipping system.

I've contacted as many as three players after a battle to say "well done". The three in question were all SPGs who, as the last three vehicles on our team, won a battle. I watched it all and they were fantastic.

I often thank one or two players for their excellent support and/or for carrying a struggling team to a win.

Edit- but I wouldn't tip them.
