Given that now I have 8 (yes 8 crew trainer books for the polish line). I want to start my Polish tech tree. I am currently on IV tier.

At what tier does it seem to be the best time to let the crew reach 100% so I can finally use the books?

The whole PL techtree is a free xp trap full of useless stock guns and modules that don't pass on to following vehicles BUT I guess somewhere along tier 6-7 is where your crew will reach 100% just by playing to unlock the next in line.

Not planing on using any free exp. :)

I just want to use the crew books given to me. Since you cant convert them to another nation. Might as well start Polish line ahahah.

So you say its tier 6-7.

If you are going to do (semi)stock grinds, then your crews can use all the help they can get. Agree with PZ that @ T6 would be a good point to apply the books.

Save your crew booklets for the one medium crew you use on Pudel / Rudy and the heavies from tier VII. The first polish tank thats not a turd on tracks is the 45TP.

Yeah wait till the line switches over to Heavy tanks, then you can at least use the crew for the rest of the line if that is what you are planing.

Also take into account that perks and skills still work even if your crewmembers are below 100% after retraining (for silver for instance)

If you have a 100% crew and you can use the books, just use them. If you can unlock sixth sense with those books (you did not specify which books you have) you can just do that and it will still work even if you retrain your crew for a new tank. There is no reason not to use the books as early as possible. Also, retraining for silver only takes 10% off of your basic qualifications, no matter how many skills and perks you have on that crew. Having those skills and perks (sixth sense + repairs for the rest) will make a significant improvement of your gaming experience with this line.

I see. Thank you all for you detailed replies. To answ. Yes I am rushing thru the grind to get to next tank (radio, tracks turrets and guns are not researched if they are not on the straight route to the next tank).

Yes no point in rushing the books. But then again why not use them as soons as one of the grinds starts being more lengthy (I blasted thru 1-4 tiers in few games).

The crew books are x2 250k exp and the rest are 6x 100k.

WG really wants me to play Polish tree. Wont be surprised if tomorrow I wake up with a free 53tp :D

Tier 5 is good but passes by fast.

Tier 6 is to be suffered through due to the horrendous aim time, and woeful speed.

I recommend saving free EXP for tier 7, it's a decent tank that packs a serious punch but in stock you'll be suffering with the gun from the tier 6 tank.

The crew keeps the tier 7 layout for the rest of the line, including the tier 8 premium, so that's where you definitely want to apply your training books.
