We all have some of them. They aren't any good, but somehow they win all the same.
In real life we call them star fund managers
I give you:
- Pz IVS 70% wins
- T20 63%
- LTP 63%
Tanks under a few dozen battles don't count

T20?
Not any good???
It just happens to be one of the best tanks tier for tier. Playing it you accidentally spot all the enemies and win the battle without even realising your own contribution.

I stand corrected, and will give it another go
I haven't played it in years, assuming it was a fluke
Well, I did actually buy the AMX 40 a second time and took it to 50 battles and 35 wins.
My ARL V39 has 100 battles and 57 wins. I bought that back as well but haven't played a single battle in it yet.

Dont stand corrected - T20 is a total turd.
Slow, no armor (all tiers it meets pen it easily anywhere), and 8+s reload for unreliable 240dmg..
Its just a pinata for everything it meets.
For me the Covenanter with 54,8 wr. That tank was a complete failure irl and is not considered any good ingame as well. Works fine for me though.
Pz. 38 T at 66,18 and VK 28.01 at 55,71, both after 70-ish games so I reckon this is still a couple of dozen...

Maybe years ago it was. Now it's just a slow paper target with meh gun handling and abysmal DPM for its alpha. If you like the punch, play a Leo, even worse gun handling, but at least it actually hits hard and has better DPM. Like all the rest about it, play the vk30.02 D. Pretty much the same gun for all intents and purposes with way better DPM, way better platform, only 10 meters less viewrange.

Lucky? Well, best grind I've done so far was the Sherman Firefly that had a 75% WR when I was done with it, but only 41 games. Not a tank with a good rep either as such.
But as for regulars?
B2 has 74% WR after 128 games
T-127 has a 70% WR after 131 games
Then I have 3 at 67%. Excelsior with 213 games, Sherman III with 139 games & Super Hellcat with 92 games.
Only one of those has a good reputation now. But still, the others work somehow. Even the Super Hellcat everyone wants buffed and calls useless.

Only have 36 battles in my AMX 40... I even bought it back once to try again. Lost every single game. 27% WR. Definitely not my lucky ducky
Excelsior is among the best seal clubbing tanks in game, btw. No news there.
I won't mention other seal clubber tanks, but 71.3% winrate in Strv 74 for me.

Well with 91 pen vs O-I's it won't do to well, not even with gold vs most of the armor added around there of late. Armor is the only good thing about it, as not many will pen you as top tier head on with AP. But you can't pen most back again if you low pen roll often unless you go full gold. Flank it and you can kill it with HE even with some guns. And unlike the Matilda IV or 220. I don't see too many carry with it anymore vs when it came. As back then the only thing most feared driving it was the pre-nerf AT-2.

60% in the TOG II*
61.5% in the 40TP
(don't suppose you want to know about the 67% in the SU122A Arty)
73% in the M3 Lee
But pride of place goes to the Churchill Gun Carrier... 79% and a Kolobanov's Medal... doesn't really count as it is a low number of games, but it wasn't going to get any better than that so I sold it and will never play it again

so leaving aside the seal clubbers like PzV/IV, KV220-2 and the overpowered for everybody like the SU-100 and the SU-122A, my most surprising high win rates are:
Tiger 131 at 58% from 48 (OK,maybe a touch low in game count)
IKV 65II with 62% from 77
Comet with 65% from 95
and, most surprising of all, the Indian Panzer with 68% from 53. all solo. They cannot all just be luck and its not line play style as the T6 and T7 data are terrible... i am curious how this will transfer through to the Leopard... i only have 10 games on it and its stock, but that WR is currently 60%.

or alternatively you could abuse it's camo rating, View range, absurdly good APCR, and it's mobility to relocate when needed.
452 battles in it across 2 accounts with a WR of 53.98%
Tier 4 chinese TD - 63% WR punches well above its, and my, weight.
SU85 soviet TD (Not SU85B). A turd with no view range but 60% WR.
It's the MM
Some tanks get really bad maps and teams all the time
Others can't put a foot wrong even if they are rubbish
Perhaps if you played the same tonk non-stop for a month it would all even out, but you would need to play 12 hours a day

59% winrate in my King Tiger which I played a bunch in when I was maybe twice as bad as I am now.
It'll probably even out a bit more considering its 56 battles but still, I've heard the King Tiger is a bit outdated in today's meta so it's a bit surprising it's still so high, also considering how much worse I was at the time I played with the tank.
