I rest my case. ye ye i know i have spall liner, it was misclic equiped now that i have gold it will be remove.

did play them. So far I played the tier 7 from the tech tree and had extreme results with it. It's extremely strong. 

I also have the tier 8 premium (gifted to me). It might have bad view range, but it also has extreme camo. Better than the lower profile bc12t or t92. I played it some battles in FL. I decided to just rush into medium tanks and look what happens. They cannot keep up. I just zigzag towards them and drive circles around them. Stupid gameplay if you ask me.

 

The gun punishes other lights hard. 500+ dmg in 1.5 seconds to paper lights is a lot. 

 

They might be clumsy in cities, rammed to death easily, etc., that doesn't make them balanced. WT auf E100 could clip a full hp Maus in 8-10 seconds, but also had a one  minute  long reload, no camo or turret armor. Giving it extremely strengths and extreme weaknesses doesn't make it balanced. 

 

People gave the same kind of arguments regarding artillery. Doesn't make it balanced. And I started playing artillery to understand it better. I dare to call myself an arta expert. I understand really well how it should be played, but also how you can play against them. Does it make then balanced? I leave this question open for you.

 

It's easy to call me a bot. But I'm still a bot with nearly 60% overall winrate and 3 gun marks on many light tanks and even artillery. I know what I'm talking about.

Dude...light spall liner, that costs 50k full price. Just destroy it, no need to waste gold removing that piece of crap.

But the clips have been rebalanced multiple times. Just like the ClownWheelies now are in dire need of rebalancing.

Sub T9 theyre too weak (except for the premium), T9 is most balanced i guess, T10 is just beyond stupid with its turning speed and High pen HE shell.

When that day never comes, you fork 50k on it. Simples. Meanwhile, don't hinder yourself like that, you're also adding 150kg extra to what the vstab would weigh on it.

 

Just an observation, is the accelerated crew training turned off on purpose? Those 330k xp could be on the crew.

Yea i am tryin to get some exp to converte them with golds if they ever let xmas boxes, i will stop once i hit 500k thats my goal

worst thing about them are: they are the fastest tanks in game, they cant be tracked, they get more none damage critical hits then other tanks.. Just too many bonuses over minuses.

They're not "ruining the game". I agree they need a bit of work, as the current situation with hitting the wheels, doing no damage AND not getting any assistance for it is pretty poor. And I feel hitting wheels should have a bit more impact than it does now.

 

And the high pen HE needs to go, especially on the premium tier 8 one, it makes it impossible to counter them with other lights. Even in the normal tier 8 one I can run around penning same tier meds from the front for 300+ damage, which quite frankly is just a joke. It's fun for sure, but it really shouldn't be a thing.

 

All in all their theoretical drawbacks are a bit too minor compared to their advantages. Same thing as with well armoured tanks with "bad guns". It might look balanced on a spreadsheet, but in reality, it's not really. They don't need huge nerfs or anything, but some tweeks, especially to the tier 8 prem and the tier 10 are very much needed.

If you lose a wheel, your speed drops by 50%, and if you are in turbo ( X ) mode, you littrealy cant make turn, only go straight and pray they miss all shots. But yea, EBR's ruined game not tanks with even more cammo and + 100-110 view range, turret armor higher then some heavies/meds...

Awww, too bad! It would be a "pretty solution" to that "annoyance" as well and "nobody would complain about them" spaced armor "anymore" either.

Personal opinion as I have played some of the racecars but with poor efficiency.

These things make some of the other LTs worthless - look at the British branch, if you are in any of those and there's an armored car on the enemy team, you will have a hard time as the bugger can just bumrush you and kill you with high-pen HE, and you can do very little about it unless the armored car player is really bad. Same for other passive spotters like the EVEN or less combat-oriented lights.

They can also be extremely hard to hit if the AC player does not drive in straight lines, plus the trolly "armor" provided by the wheels which can negate even high caliber gold ammo.

Still a high skill floor branch that can be very awkward to play in cramped maps and needs lots of crew skills for peak performance, and is not brainless easy mode at all (unless you're unicum but if that's the case all tanks are brainless easy mode, some more than others).

 

tl;dr - they do not need nerfs imho, but they introduced a kind of playstyle that can be extremely disruptive and frustrating to deal with, and to which many have yet to adapt.

only one I feel I can hit with some degree of success is the lynx, for the rest its shear luck leading a shot and hoping the wheely drives into it

What if you are near the back in your grille and one suddenly appears in your face from 100m. When your team didn't suspect they would drive straight into you on himmelsdorf, circlejerk you for your entire HP, then drive off safely back his own side whilst our slow (ish) lights try and chase him whislt firing on the move at a target so agile you can't possibly predict where they will be in .5 sec to pre-aim them?

I have never done any dmg to tier X EBRs. Last night got 2 hits and that got total of 10 hits, total dmg 0. 

 

Done that with Ravioli and CDA 105, great shell velocity, so ite easier to hit fast targets, but so what, still 0 dmg to tier X EBRs.
