Hi dear fellas.

I recently started the Chinese line for the very first time, atm im at the tier 6 chinese light.

Im not liking this line so far but maybe i also dont know how to play with it...what are the pros and cons of this line?

What should i focus on during the matches? Is this lane worth to grind till lvl 10 LIGHT or i should swap to the med line?

I would be gratefull for any tip

Thanks

In my opinion this line is actually pretty good except for the tier 9 and 10. I stopped at tier 8 which is the last good one from the line.

They are mostly medium tanks with light tank tag, so play them as you would play a medium tank.

The pros are good acceleration, very good alpha, good penetration, good view range

cons are bad top speed, bad gun depression and not sure about the camo. I pretty much enjoyed this line, just as I said, consider them medium tanks that have the camo on the move bonus.

Oh, and do not go to the medium tank line on the chinese, they are the worst mediums in the game.

I just checked and it looks like they don't excel in view range either, but I had mine with Optics mounted + full view range skills on the crew and it did just fine.

Funny to see someone giving advice without much to back it up.

@OP: there's a CT running, so perhaps it's a good time to hop on it and give it a go?

1. I really don't plan to go above 8 in them. Maybe 9 might vaguely work with the stock gun and 60% or so premium(at least till ammo changes)?

They really look like the definition of "poor man's medium" in t9 and t10. Bad dpm, horrid accy and an alpha which isn't even the biggest of the class anymore. Ok, ot british lights level of bad, but...

I mean, you have 390 alpha in t10. Good for a light, but, really, noone will tremble before that alpha. And with .42 accy, given it's t10 and ppl. tend to sit a bit less in the middle of the field...

2. no clue about camo/vr/stuff like that. I always thought that 1% more camo, 10m more vr and all the supposed differences are fluff. With 3 crew skills(loader has sa/commander recon - so great crew layout) and food you'll outspot in 90% of the cases.

anyway, it's not "ninja" camo, it's not horrid either; perfectly workable. Also, bit fat for my taste; not us level of fat, but... "big boned" for a light.

3. I really liked t7; even if I didn't have much clue when playing it the 1st time. 3rd mark it afterwards, etc.

t6 - had no clue when playing it; wouldn't really replay it since... dunno, felt awfully generic. Not bad; just not interesting.

t8 - ok... Always thought that from t8, lights start going down. I don't think I'll try to mark it - unlock the 2 t9s(who knows when they'll buff something) and move crew back to 7 is my base case scenario.

below t6 - no clue; somethin'... don't remember. Whatever I guess.

4. gun. Made in china. Usually the highest alpha of it's tier, but: a bit longer aim time than average(also a bit more inaccurate, but not dramatically till t9). Longer aim time for a light; it's not heavy tank aimtime..

"Lower dpm"(whatever, it's probably 5% lower or something - perfectly fine).

pretty low shell velocity. Also, t7(which, again, imho is the best of the line) has heat - so no faster shell velocity when mashing that 2 key

poor gun depression - hard to shoot without breaking camo from some positions

5. they burn and get ammo racked;

6. mobility - good soft stats usually;

7. the chinese medium line doesn't exist. It's just your imagination; or masochism. Your choice. :P

p.s. - summing it up for my experience. Get the t7, play t7, enjoy. Best tier for lights, tank is good while having it's uniqueness. Happy happy, joy joy(it's a chinese tank, so it's a happy tank anyway).

WZ-132 is good, it was my goto tank for completing a lot of the campaign missions.

Handily the medium line branches off of the WZ-132 as well so you get plenty of experience with the tank before you decide which way you want to go.

Line consists basically of mobile, stealthy medium tanks. Guns have good alpha, pen and fpm to deal with other lights or meds. Bad accuracy/gun handling stats nake it hard to snapshot and snipe.
I put the 85*mm gun on the wz132 (like the good ol wz131 used to be, experts will know what I mean). The tier 9 at first disappointed me, but later I could make work of the 'punchy' gun, it's camo and mobility. Tier x wz ain't that good, but I like to play it.

Edit: 85, not 100mm*

Here are some quick do's and dont's.

Do: Type 64

Dont: Literally everything else. Type 62 is a small exception, but still worse than type 64.

I've stopped at T8 although the mesh over the turret of the T-10 looks cool.

The T9 gun accuracy is .40 which is too bad for my liking. Your own mileage may vary but I've grinded out he T-54 Lwt and the derp in it is too much for me. The T8 tank has .38 which is useable for me.

I plan to 3 mark the T8 at some point, it's a decent all rounder other than poor gun depression. Solid alpha so can punish other LTs fairly well.

I got almost all chinese LT's in my garage. Heres a quick rundown:

T4 Excellent for its tier (contender for Luchs / Pz 38 Na)

T6 useless/bad/boring/unremarkable

T6 premium ok

T7 ok / could be better (was my favorite b4 nerf / in the old +-3 mm)

T7 premium ok / could be better, let down by gun performance and HP/ton ie power/weight

T8 excellent - actually elite quality, feels almost OP like WG forgot to nerf it more / keeper

T8 premium ok

T9 ok

T10 horribad - avoid like plague

The pre-nerf wz-131 <3 It was also among my favorites, with the 85mm gun (ofcourse).

In my opinion, the Chinese lights are decent....

The Type 64 is probably one of the best tanks at tier 6.

Type 62, Watching Cobra6s vid on it made me want it, but haven't pulled the trigger, I expect this to be in the "loot" boxes

The 5916, I've kelp it but its gathering dust.

The WZ 131, 132 are great machines.... loved them and did a lot of the missions for the T55A in them.

WZ 132A is one of my best performing tanks, kinda like a light/medium.

WZ 132-1 Hmmmm this is where the line fella apart for me, don't get on with it, gun hurts, but good luck hitting what you aim at, its like a Medium but in a light body, I sold the 132-1 and retrained my crew back into the 132A

Ah the Prems. The Type 64 is insane, likely OP in the right hands.

The Type 62 is ok but nothing amazing

I personally really like the M41D but it's basically a US T8 Bulldog with 1 degree worse gun depression but has a more accurate gun (one of the most accurate higher tier LT guns I believe).

short answer is "no"

go French and Soviet light lines, instead.

Chinese lights used to be decent, but after they nerf it...probably type 64 is good...

the autoloader on 59-16, decent wz131 and wz132 are all gone...

I advise you not to spend any time and resources above tier 8. The gun on tier 10 especially is made out of digital frustration. I used to like this line of handsome mobile stealthy tanks with decent firepower, but they're just not the same.
