The JagdTiger is one of my favourite tanks in the game. I love it! But...The tanks needs some love. For such a heavy tank, the armour is just so bad. Every standard shell can pen it in the superstructure. This is making the survavability of the tabk VERY hard. Also the mobility is just... I am not saying that the mobility should be made super fast, but at least the ground resisting and some soft stats. When uphill the tank moves with 8kmph!

What do you think? Should it get buffed? How?

Juast finished the grind, it is an OK tank in my opinion. Maybe a little speed buff would be in place to adjust it to the 2019 pace of the game.

The jagdtiger is just a superb gun on a terrible platform.

If they buffed the armor, it would be just another tortoise/t95 with nothing unique. It would need a complete overhaul, but if they can't really do that since it's a real tank that didn't exist only in blueprints. I don't see how WG can make it balanced other than buffing the speed(which would either be too much or not enough).

I think the tank is in a good place. It is fun to play, imho, but not strictly imbalanced by lack of relevant weaknesses. That gun should never be on a perfect platform. A lesser gun on the 268-4 showed just what happens if you do combine a good gun with a good platform.

They buffed the lower plate on the tier 8 premium of it. So much that the 175 pen gun on the IS-6 back in the day was suddenly useless vs it. It now has more armor vs the tier 9 head-on. Why? No idea, but someone thought that was a good idea.

It should atleast have the same lower plate armour as the Tier 8 Special Match Making version. This change would provide some much needed resistance to low tier guns without breaking anything.

Nah, it's balanced as is. As Chainreact0r said, the platform might be lacking, but that gun...

The problem is, that's exactly what it is supposed to be, a very big and heavily armored tank destroyer with a big gun. Uniqueness or not, that's probably why most get the Jagdtiger cause that's what made it intresting and unique in real life.

Buffing and making into another tortoise/t95 is exactly what it is supposed to be, historically and probably what most expect from it.

One of the best guns in game, on an okay platform with 2100 hp. Seems good to me. WG rather give the Conway some love. Either better gun handling or some more hp.

Jagdtiger never was a standalone tank. Mediums always could rush it, take the hit and finish it off in its behind.
Jagdtiger never was a camping tank. The camo simply does not work, you will be spotted and countered by arty or anything with an accurate (or Lucky) gun.

Jagtiger never was a sniper tank. As any german gun your shells would sometimes just fall into the ground before your target or simply bounce on the most "sure" shots.

Jagdtiger never was a "tanking" tank. It has/had too many weakspots and the tracks were really vunerable to HE.

I do like the Jagdtiger. Had amazing battles with it but you can never be certain it perform at a certain tactic/task well.

I have no clue how to improve it. It is the best tank from WOII but it cannot compete against later technology tanks. Nor can it hold itself it the current meta. Maybe just make it a Tier VIII.

I'm currently grinding the thing. It has enough armour to play it aggressive sometimes and the gun is really good. Just don't go head to head against tier 10 heavies when you are the only one to shoot at.

Why not make it a little more comfy to play?

Speed from 38/12 to 40/15.

Gun arc from 10/10 to 15/15.

Gun depression from -7.5 to -9.

Engine power from 700 to 900 (use E75s engine), which is then about 12 hp/ton.
