I mean, safe to say it was pretty dull and boring year overall when you think about it. You may say there was frontline episodes etc but again, i'm sure you could have find much better time to fit some other events here and there, including this one. But now, all of sudden, you spam event over event within same time frame, and its holiday season soon, where majority will prefer spending time with their families. Who knows, i might have joined this ramble, but not this time. Already doubt i'll have time to finish challange or able to attend other events thru month.

Or you could completely level the playing field, by providing tournament tanks with exactly the same loadouts, crew skills and consumables for players to participate with.  Then you wont get the cw reward tanks with 6+skill crews, full gold ammo, improved equipment, food consumable etc.

 

Better player will still be better but there will be less of an edge that all the above also provides, so more peope might participate.

indeed, they did it in that set of events using 3 tanks you could upgrade during the fight. Ended up with cheats teaming in the solo vs all for the upgrades to win the overall battle.

What's up with technical victories? Because it's kinda annoying to wait for 10 minutes and not gain anything. And then again wait for another 10 minutes and hope the opponent show up so you don't have to wait another 10 minutes.

To be honest mate I have spectacular games like last night in a couple of games I finished first on the winning team with 4 kills and 5 kills respectively but I also sometimes go out in the first minute and a half...... It is precisely that inconsistency that prevents me handicapping a team in a tournament. (I assure you I am not the only person who feels that way). As for the Xmas boxes we already knew they were coming both last year and the year before by now. I watch various streamer news vids and streams as well as trawl reddit and the like. I knew which tanks (we all knew about the IS-3A) were going to be in the boxes long before December. If you look at the monthly preview there is no mention of holiday ops at all but there is a series of pretty similar to a normal month weekend specials and a few extra's but that was not the model followed in the last couple of years and on this last point I maybe mistaken but I am pretty sure that the festive garage and the holiday ops (decorations and collections) was already running within a couple of days of the Advent Calendar. There has been no fanfare for the "special" tank/s that will entice people to buy boxs/crates/chests. Last year we had the aforementioned IS-3A and the year before it was the Type 59. Obviously I cannot be absolutely sure but over the last 7 years I have got a pretty good at reading WG and I would say there is defo no "Holiday Ops" this year, or at least not along the lines of the last two years (random decorations every day and albums and camo's etc) There may be "loot boxes" but they are not making any sort of a big deal out of it as they did prior to its first two incarnations and to be honest if I had too bet  on it I would probably take good odds that there are not going to be any this year or at least not in the tried and tested format. As I illustrated earlier there is no super tank/s or really rare vehicles (if there is such a thing any more) being rumoured then touted for their boxes main lure. Besides, the "loot boxes" were tied to the decorations. Last year I actually bought a set of Chinese New Year chests to get a dozen or so Tier V decorations for that collection. I personally think the completion of even one album of decorations (and I completed two last year as well as completed the two from the year before, that I had not procured) would be almost impossible if you did not get your Tier V decorations from "loot boxes". So, no, I do not think there is any "Holiday Ops" like last year and I am dubious that there will be any "loot boxes" either. Exactly why WG would mess with such a universally popular, tried and tested model is anybodies guess.

Second of all you have no idea what you're talking about, do you know how much money the Christmas event brought to WG? I can assure you they'd sacrifice every other thing they were working on (like for example Halloween event) just to perfect and fine tune this one, it's just simple business calculation, you don't kill chicken which brings you golden eggs. As for no leaks, maybe this time they're better at keeping it a secret? Streamers are saying that they don't know, and even if they would know, they wouldn't be able to say anything. And as for the tanks which could be offered I think Type 59 would still be enough to make many people go crazy, throw in Defender in the equation and it's enough to generate big hype. But I have my own suspicion, there's a reason why double barreled tanks are not hitting the test server, yet there are testers on live RU servers playing them... (Although tbh personally I prefer they wouldn't enter the game, I don't think we need such tanks.)

Yeah, you are not the first person to complain about the lack of paragraphs. I comment on facebook groups and answer questions at Quora and people are always moaning about it but I am doing this on a phone so...... As for not knowing what I am talking about. I never said I knew anything categorically, I said, "I think, I believe or in my opinion" We shall see shortly. As I have said a couple of times what I am concerned with is the possible lack of the decorations, small chests/crates and the collections with camo's for completed ones. I really enjoyed that the last couple of years. The boxes I can take or leave. Do not get me wrong if they do indeed become available in the premium shop I will buy some as they are great value for money and have treated me well in the past. Two years ago I got the Type 59 on my first ever crate and last year I got the Defender and the IS-3A in my first set of 24 is it? The large option for about £65. We will know for sure in a few more days although by this time last year we knew all about it by now. Good Luck bruv.

You said a golden phrase there which is 'competiveness at all level'. Unfortunately, WG dont  pay attention  to this phrase. In every tournaments usually same players end up in final 16 to get gold.So, where is the fair competition?  Do gold ammo spam and illegal mod usage make them better unicum(!) players? Wg keeps satifiying 1% of player base with their  weird competitiveness approach. I have a suggestion to create 2 different groups in each tournaments.One group consists of unicum gold spammer no  real life players and one group consists of mediocore players like with smaller rewards to gain. That way we can have competiveness at all levels.
