The tank is bad. The armor doesn't work. The cupola is too big for it's speed and size. This is not a heavy tank because you can't rely on armor and it's not a medium because the speed is too mediocre. I would love this tank to work similary to AMX 30B but it's just too slow. Wargaming changed the size of cupola of M48 Patton, if they want this tank to have current speed they should make the cupola smaller, harder to hit. The front places are workable, but the side of cupola with that speed is unplayable. You can't brawl because of weak hull and cupola. You can't poke,shot and run back fast enough because the tank is huge and too slow. The gun is perfect, but I can't use it losing all my hitpoints after doing 700 demage. Please make the cupola smaller or give it like 50 or 60kmph top speed , and if that's bad idea, atleast make the front plates a little bit stronger like on T110E5 because right now it's pure cheese.

Can't you read? I told "make the cupola smaller OR give it more speed", not do both.

Maybe "heavy tank" refers to weight only ?  Some high tier french tanks and some md tier Brits have meh armor also.

My problem isn't that it's labeled as a heavy tank but that it should be faster with such armor. The cupola and front plates will be absolutely fine if they give this tank 45-50kmph average speed on flat ground and around 20kmph backwards because right now it reaches 45 only from slope and after long acceleration.

Any idea about its historical speed and terrain resistance values ?

Well they made M48 Patton cupola smaller, so why wouldn't they change the speed for balance purposes?

Renegade represents how premium tanks should be made. It is well balanced tank that offers excellent gun with decent mobility and armor. I bought this tank with only 50% discount and I do not regret it and really like to play it. I think those weakspots are good thing so lower tier tanks have chance to counter me if I do mistakes and I hope WG will continue with balanced premium tanks in future if they decide to release another premium tank instead of putting it in tech tree.

It's an all rounder, it's a heavium basically does everything decently but not at the same level as specialist tanks. 

 

Adjust how you play according to what you are facing. 

 

It has good mobility, good alpha, good DPM, good gun handling, good view range, decent pen and some usable armour.  Seems fine to me.

How is that people that never played a vehicle share opinions about it? The mobility is not good enough for that armor. In stats in might look enough, but it's not. If they want if to have no armor like now, give it more speed, make it a mini M60, make it go around 40-50, not 30 and 40 from slope. Everything about the vehicle is fine, but the speed is too low.

Because I have watched people vastly better than you play it and they have all said it's decent, not super OP or anything but a good solid 7/10 tank. Pretty much every streamer/youtuber has said the same, good all rounder, decent mobility, good gun handling, they like the DPM/alpha combo and the armour is troll but not super reliable. 

 

You have zero experience in higher tier US heavies or even British heavies (which are similar) so you don't know the playstyle, and it means you don't have a good crew for it, and you don't even have any experience in any other 'heavium' style tanks so clearly don't know how to use tanks like this.

 

And after saying all that it's still one of your best performing tier 8s for damage.

 

But it's clearly you, not the tank IMO.

I played this tank and I am also saying it is really fun tank to play and it does not need any buff/nerf. It is in perfect place right now.

I don't have to know the playstyle to tell the heavy speed for a pretty much light tank armor is bad. I have all driving skills in it still is sluggish as hell https://imgur.com/a/z19ka7B. This tank doesn't have medium playstyle because it doesn't have medium speed. The tank goes 30 on flat ground, I'm going same in my Pz. VII, which is a super heavy tank. Do you even consider other perspectives or you just go on people if you don't agree with them? Because that's what you're doing right now. Give it better mobility and the tank will be workable.
