Idea is simple - its very inconvenient to use the chat sometimes, its slow and distracting. Meanwhile, it would be totally natural for tanks within their radio distance to be able to communicate with each other. ofc it should be switchable, and voice of a certain player must have a block button too (against the abuse, like the kids launching annoying music in CSGO voicechat), but It looks to be very useful and in line with the game paradigm and physics, too.

no thank you. even tho it could give birth to new memes. :teethhappy:

Spoiler

Some players Like QuickyBaby and other famous people would trigger a lot of Fan boy screams.

The ingame voice chat is terrible many people use it in Skirmishes and you either get far too loud screeching or barely audible fug - team speak works much better.  Though the idea is nice for randoms I'm afraid that in this community it would be a disaster.

I totally love ur argument but afaik as of tommorrow there be no recognisable nicknames and stats ingame, so that b pretty much countered

Well TS on phone is greedy and i dont pay them, and TS on toaster overheats the toaster xDD

As an option they could make a deal with 3d party for an overlay voice interface. I know its hard to trust them to do a good voice comm themselves xD

I fear I'd have to start every random battle by muting half the team. Then there would be that player voice raging post death instead of pinging the map 354635435435 times. The map pinging is anoying af when I'm trying to focus my own way out of a tricky situation. I can only imagine the frustration having to either shift my focus to mute someone or to try and mentally block the raging voice.

If added I'd most likely have it on constant mute.

It could work in any area where everyone has at least one language in common....

I fear a bunch of screaming dipshits whining in different languages that noone supported them dying all alone while overstretching...

For randoms definitely not, I reckon that people care far too little for this game mode to bother communicating. Even in ranked, it would be troublesome if 15 players are trying to talk. Maybe if WG reduces the number of players in ranked, but honestly I don't see this one happening.
