Hey there. I didn't saw a topic like this and, since I was an affectionate browser of the "Which forum member have you seen in random battles" thread, I'm curious about how many of us will actually use this feature.

Personally, I'm proud of my nick, proud of my gameplay history summed up by my stat and, obviously, proud of being a patented noob under the TDU clan tag, so I won't use the anonimizer.

And you? Are you using the anonimizer? Did you game experience improve by using it? Or do you share your line of thought with me and will keep your identity public?

Or are you planning to use it just sometime, following your personal exigencies?

If WG wants people can hide their stats, he can just forbid XVM and suppress personnal stats of players.

I used it today because its there and I wanted to see how it works. After one day, its a bit difficult to say if theres any difference at all.

I am not ashamed of my name, nor am I ashamed of my stats.

I will proudly let my sluagh-ghairm resound at the start of battle.

Let every soul hear my call to charge forwards with no regards to losses.

I don't use it. I believe this feature is a massive mistake that mostly gives trolls and bot users the opportunity to be (even more) toxic. I do not believe it will change the game experience of (super) unicums for the better, but we will have to wait and see. My hypothesis is that most of the perceived stat focus is in fact caused by the fact good players are agressive and therefore visible. The anonymizer isn't going to change their approach to playing the game and they will receive as much focus as before. Only now we have lost yet another part of the game.

I'm using it and i hope there will be critical mass of users so that XVM will become absolutely useless and that all the toxicity XVM creates will go away.

yes; but only because I want xvm out.

my stats aren't that good to be focused or anything, so my experience didn't necessarily change. Not that I could notice in 12 battles anyway...

I turned it on for a couple of battles to see what it did. To be honest, I didn't notice any difference. I have turned it off as I fail to see any advantage to me in using it.

With my remarkable win rate and XVM score I have for years suspected that I have been unfairly targeted by lesser players

Imagine my surprise on discovering that I continue to be targeted by lesser players despite my name being fishfacedidiot2019

It is worth it just because it's hysterical reading frustrated wn8 junkies hurl abuse at players who turn out to be unicums.

I'm keeping my nick. After 46 or is it 47 years on this 3rd rock, I can handle written abuse.

Tbh it gives me a warm glow knowing I've got someone's attention

Oh forgot to say- morning all.

What what

Have it turned on atm, mostly because I not bothered turning it off again. Yet.

Only diff I experienced so far is whining in chat about "noobs and bad players only turning stats off". Game experience has not changed a bit. Will turn off today, as I do not wish to battle under pseudonym "fishface_mcfarland2032" or whatnot.

Function should have been that stats did not show, but your own name did.

And oh, I do use xvm, but a rather slimmed down version. Mainly for garage and map.

I dont feel much difference, but I will keep it on, since it's just the beginning, let's see what will happen in the long run.

Btw, I am not XVM user, I like play WOT in Vanilla, and sometimes, I feel myself got XVM focused...(or not, but I can tell those players are really good, without XVM stats)

Half QBs content is sitting in obvious places and then complaining about arty focus and people that kill him only doing it "because it's him" so it'll be interesting to see what he decides to do with it. :)

I have not used it yet.

I find it strange if you dont want people to know each other stats in battle just ban Xvm..

I dont know if you can see there real name in the end results of the battle?

If not than the anomynizer (sh*tname) is made for really bad players...to not get called out at the beginning of the battle.

I never bin called out at the beginning of a battle and i am just a average player ...so if you get that a lot you must be real real real bad at the game.

(and those players should rethink what the hell they are doing).

I am using it. Mainly enjoying the sometimes comical names it throws out.

Not noticed too much difference in terms of game play - my stats are good enough to spare me most of the 'tomato' abuse and bad enough to prevent xvm focus.

Not seen a single 'bot team, good loss' with a drowning in the first 2 mins at all yesterday though, which was nice.
