In a few days some of us will have access to 60 czech blueprints. Are there any keepers along the way or just rush past the "defender nemesis" at T8? Is there anything interesting at T5,6 or 7? Also, how is the autoloader premium which is likely to turn up in the advent calender?

Skoda T 25 Is often considered quite solid though personally I didn't like it. Basically Chi-Ri like gun on Tier VI, which is nice, the problem is just the platform (kinda like.. well, Chi-Ri). Skoda T 50 At IX Is considered real good and I think to most better tier-for-tier than the X, but personally I'm the other way around and have found the X More enjoyable thus far. I also liked the T-34/100 At Tier VII, but as I understand that's not a really popular opinion, and while fun I'm not sure I'd call it a hidden gem or anything.

Premium is alright, but you're better off with a Progetto 46 That is sold constantly anyway.

What's kind of awesome on that tree, at least in my opinion, is:

Tier 3,

Tier 5,

Tier 6,

Tier 9,

Tier 10,

... as DP partially pointed out already.

And I think the Tier 8 premium is probably relatively nice, I do have it but I have not driven it often enough to tell you if it's extremely good or not.

Though it's probably not the worst, I would say it's at the very least 7 out of 10, plus hey it's a way to train your crews quicker while earning credits, so I'd say it's worth the buy if you like playing any regular CZ/SK vehicle/crew.

Overall, it's an alright tech tree (actually a very good one), albeit not branchy at all... So you either gotta be in for some light medium clipper play, or it's the wrong tree for you, obviously.

Only tier 8 is unplayable, and tier 7 is wonky to play but at least has its merits(punchy gun). Tier 5 is playable, tier 6 is pretty good, tier 9 is godlike tier and tier 10 is pretty decent and loads of fun.

So in a nutshell, skip tier 8.

But how will you kill Defenders if you don't play the TVP VTU.

This is a legit concern. Maybe keep the Tier 8 as well and just hope there's as many Defenders in the matchmaker as possible, when you press Battle! :D

I look at the Defender in my garage and I don't play it because I fear that I might meet a TVP VTU On the battlefield, and then I'm screwed! Clearly it is the end of days!

I died to a TVP VTU In my Defender once during Frontline and I have never felt more insulted in my life.

You can keep the gaming experience fresh by going the harder way by not trying to counter it with TVP VTU.

The great thing about the Czech tree is that it is quite easy to get the "kill Czechs" badge.

If I can get it anyone can

I also seldom play mine for the same reasons, but I gotta tell you I've come up with a little strat just in case I meet one and there's no chance of escaping:

I always load a couple HE shells, that way I know I can at least have a chance at tracking a TVP, because let's be real I know I can't pen it anyway. So at least while I die I know that maybe my teammates will be able to hit it's weakspots easier while it is still tracked.

Personally my Highlights were/are:

Tier III - LT vz, 38

Tier VI - Skoda T 25

Tier IX - Skoda T 50

All three offer a good mobility and a nice gun that allows to punish enemies hard when used correctly.

The Tier VII is playable but it quite differs from the rest as you don't have an autoloader but a more "Alpha" oriented gun.

Tier VIII is sadly just an oversized Skoda T 40 with different guns.
