Best as commander ever since they allowed SOS and BIA to mix and match.

I will probably have them as commanders and drivers, drivers also have a lot of good skills.

Commanders, sometimes gunners (3-man crews when gunner is also loader so you can get safe stowage easily). I use them as gunners sometimes on meds that rely on camo (so I can get camo, repairs, snap shot and designated target asap).

Yes, but driver's skill has negligible effects. Clutch Braking is 5%, Smooth Ride is 4%, Off-Road driving is 10% on soft/2.5% of medium (only useful on tanks with really bad terrain resistances - like Renegade), Controlled Impact is too situational and Preventive Maintenance works only on engine fires and most high tier tanks have 10-12% chance to be set on fire (and enemies have 45% chance to damage engine when hitting it). Lots of skills but not very useful.

I suspect that the answer to this is not simple.

1. The wheeled vehicles demand an all girl/reward crew and the santa claus two free perk commander if possible.

2. Light tanks - especially those with three or two person crews also benefit from all girl/reward crews as there are so many perks that are mandatory ie full camo, full view range skills, SoS/BIA, plus movement etc.

3. Medium tanks - any tank I might have to play in CW has a full reward/girl crew in it ie 140,62A, 430U and CAX.

4. Heavy tanks - less important to have lots of perks, thus a reward crew on commander only. (although I bought a second Cromwell B purely to get the BIA free crew to go into the SuperConqueror).

5. TD - I have a full crew in the Swedish TD and thats it. Might use reward crew commanders in E4.

6. SPG - only needed by dedicated players, for the rest of us a waste.

No, they were both +5% effect but not intermixable because "WG reasons". That was patched a while back so now you can have any mix of BIA/SOS crew and they all work together to give you the bonus. It's just preferable to use females as commanders because they pick up skills faster and commanders tend to need more skills to get the most benefit.

Bikini bodys on the beach? Heck why not.

OT : personally I like to keep the crew the same gender. So my crews are all male or female. But this is also a leftover from when sos and BIA would not work together.

Commanders have the most and useful skills, and of course there is that: in case where the commander is also the radio operator it's better to use a BIA crew, like the females, so you can get both reckon and sit awareness faster (most high tier tanks have 4 man crew).

But all in all, it depends on what you want, if you want a really good crew for a favorite tank, go for full BIA crew, but, loaders for example don't have any really useful skills, and even safe storage is debatable to have, or gunners, after snap shot, all of the other skills aren't really great, so mostly you should use BIA crews as commanders.

I placed last years girls in the M8a1 Scott... Less than Ideal.

I got this years commander from my first box out of the 3 I bought and placed rest of the girls with her in the E 50. That should work better.
