I camp in the bush, Scorpion g come for me through open field and i spot him maybe on 100m , even less...how si that possible? no bush, its open field.

My spotting range is  475 m

Scorpion G camo  on the move is 5.5  ...so i should spot Scorpion on 350m , right?

If the bush you're hiding behind is opaque, then the enemy benefits from the camo as well.

For example

50 camo rating mean 50%??

So somebody with 450 spotting rage  will spot me on 220m? Right?

I don't know, we need a replay to figure that out:trollface:

Every single time somebody makes a post like this and people ask for a replay they mysteriously disappear.

250m actually. But... that is IF he is in the open. If you have a double bush, he gets 80% camo rating vs you and that distance drops. But with no replay. Who knows.

Do I need to bust out my "less than 100m" screenshots or are we getting a replay?

I still remember that thread (also the reason replay is asked; what is said =/= what happened)

People also often misjudge distances in WoT; 50 meters is close, that's 4 times the KV-4 length. 100 meters? Not exactly far either. Often what people think is 100 meters tends to be much farther because they misjudged the distance because they forget a tank is quite large (most of them anyway).

And ofc bushes not only hide you but they can also reduce how far you can spot! (especially double bushes)

No replay? I don't believe any of it.
