Ok, now you have my attention.
I've purchased 2x 75 boxes and i am all excited!

i've got 2 tier VIII tanks (703 and E75TS), a few tier VI and lower (cant believe the amount of double crap i had in those boxes, but heyyyy its gold..

in the previous days i have purchased the Strv S1, Skoda T-27, LT-432 & AMX 13 57. But i want the Progetto (and the KV-2R) .
Anyway long story shot. Got 30k gold left. is Lorr 40t worth it, you know the 10.700 gold, or should i just convert my gold into hard cash so i can purchase the IS-4, T110E4, E50M or Badger?

Well this really depends on what you like to play. Objectively speaking Lorrain/Skoda/Progetto are all good tanks and they  all have strong points.

Lorrain shines with the high standard pen, one of the highest on tier 8 meds(i only take 1 clip of premium ammo in mine) and the 1200 clip potential, that is no joke esp in mid too late game.

Also Lorry has the alpha advantage  on them, hitting for 300 DMG/ shot, and not the 240 the skoda and progetto have.

Neither have armor, and they are all pretty mobile. Lorrain has the longest  down time, but with food/bia crew/ that can be shortened and the gun handling improved to  a decent level.

So  i would say, for people who can play  tanks with no armor, and like mobility  and enjoy autoloader   tanks it's worth picking up.

I would love to take your advise and proceed with the purchase, but...
yeah, you are in the DiD0 klanu. Your klanu is like fake wannabee Dingers.
You either used to be Dingers, or slapped too hard to become one.
I rather wait for someone of the Sub Dingers klanu, like FAME or -MM to give me some advise....

I didn't play it much it randoms because I grinded my tier 8 premiums to death in FL. To be honest, I prefer Lorr 40t over Spagetto. I find a situation to dump my clip, fire as many shells from my clip as I safely can and then I have a nice 30 seconds of break from action to move somewhere else and think what to do next. Progetto is far more stressful and complicated - should I fire one shot, maybe 2 or maybe all 3? What if they rush me and I'll have long reload? What if firing 1 instead of 2 was a wasted opportunity because enemy retreated? Should I interrupt my reload and fire another shell? What if I empty my clip and bounce/fail to do damage and be left with long reload? You have to think about all of this if you want to be efficient in Progetto. Lorraine 40t is far more simpler.

Higher standard pen and alpha is also nice.

Not sure if it's worth picking up with gold, though. It's probably better to wait for it to appear in the shop with no bundle and they buy it using some coupons.

Well was never in fame, but was in MM:) If it  makes you feel a bit better:)

Under my stats, could be better on the damage part, but i actually play  it a bit too aggressive . Some times i am to eager to clip someone and make silly mistakes, but in general i do fine in it.

Have fun with it:) Might take a bit of time to get used on how to manage the clip, but other than that good hunting.

Does this means my amx CDC crew can finally come out and play?

lorr 40T is a good tank, but it has quite high skill cap IMO. low dpm and zero armor holds it back, by saying zero armor i mean it, every arta pens you for full dmg, and pretty much every decent caliber gun pens you with HE as well. Gun is really derpy, using vstab and egld on mine, no food on it and its still quite bad at aiming in its shots, with food it gets quite a bit better, but not good enough. Even though tank is not amazing, i have one of the highest dpg of any tiers 8s i have, it definitely makes a crapload of credits if used properly.

64% wr and 2443dpg after 135 battles so far, i prefer it over any tier 8 med, even though there are better tanks at tier 8.

To me it is a bit too big. Good gun, no need for prem ammo but like i said; too big. You just get hit every single time, unlike in the Progetto where you can duck and cover.

And it has a reload that is a bit too long. Never venture alone, or you are dead unless you just face one enemy because then chances are you can clip him.
