Talking about this, tier 8+ tanks: https://worldoftanks.eu/en/news/special-offers/happy-holidays-happy-discounts/

I simply do not accept 15% as a discount, but rather as a marketing trick. It's just not worth it. It's like when you walk into a store and see Milka chocolate on a 9% discount or something like that. It's designed to draw your attention; *look, shiny discount* but you're not really paying much less than the normal price.

It's made to empty your pockets, to take your money...which leads me to believe WG wants to do exactly that, right before the Black Market opens up, so less people buy rare tanks...

I know your scheme, WG! I wasn't born yesterday!

Save your credits for the Black Market.

Have a nice day.

The BM clerk was in the 2020 holiday ops announcement trailer so it's basically confirmed. (I'd be shocked if it weren't) Besides, there was that gold WT E100 'leak' so...whoop-dee-doo. :harp:

Let’s say you are right. And let’s say everyone takes your advice and saves what they have for the BM,WG will just put the price up on everything in the BM

WG believes that we have to many credits. Which is probably true when I see the gold ammo party every game.

Honestly, I'm waiting for more leaks, if there were any worthy T8 tanks I'll save up credits, and if nothing worthy show up, I'll just buy my tanks.

I have three tanks to buy and 15% is better than nothing, right? I'll be saving 1 million credits at least.

Only interested in Awful Panther, I expect that to appear in bond shop rather than in black market.

Well 15% is, in fact, a discount.

For discounts, the only reason not to buy a tank you've unlocked that's reduced is that you think a larger reduction is coming later.

I've unlocked a few tanks that I just leave waiting for a discount. 15% may not seem much, but equipment is also 50% off.

So lets say you bought the T-54 today, and you had the free XP to unlock all the modules at zero cost.

You save 500k on the tank, and you'd have to buy the modules anyway. Then if you were to put equipment on, you could save around another half a million credits depending on what you used.

That's a 1M saving on buying and equipping the tank today. Personally, I think that's a reasonably good deal.

The only time you ever save money with a discount is if you intended to buy anyway, with or without a discount.

well, its better than nothing...

i have been waiting for discount to buy a couple of tier IX's and VIII's...

now i just got the Standard B, the 50 TP, EBR90, the Caernavon, the Amx 30, the VK 45.02b, and i will get the bobject latter night...with the E50.

not worried about credits as i have lots of premiums days yet and lots of credit boosts to burn.

but i think most of this tanks i wont be selling so... its allways decent to get them cheaper if you wont sell them after.

Just bought a Progetto 65, Udes 15/16 and a Manticore plus all equipment. Nearly 3 million saved on the initial tank purchase and about 1.5 on the equipment.

A saving of over 4 million isn't to be sniffed at. As for the BM, there's not a lot that's left that I don't have or interests me so I'm made. Just waiting for the double barrelled Russian line. Everything else is researched and purchased.
